That sound you hear when the PvP switches ON instantly freezes the blood in your veins.

You look around you to check for enemy players but you see none. Maybe you can get away unhurt… hop on a flight to get that awefull PvP icon off your player icon.

You almost made it … you try to accelerate but you wasted the speed potion… and then your blood literally curdles when you hear that raspy voice say… BRAAIIINNNSSSSS!!

And then you die… only to come alive again as a ghoul. Bye, Bye IMMERSION!!

Well, I see a lot of PvPers having to PVE just to be able to compete in PvP - this just is the same thing but turned around - and its not like its every day.

Difference is; this is a PvE game.
PvP is AN OPTIONAL SIDE ACTIVITY. That is a fact (Doesn’t mean there’s not people who view it as their main activity - but that doesn’t change facts).

It should ALWAYS be optional. ALWAYS.

hell i dont even pvp i have very veyr few achivements to prove it but i can enjoy this event when it happens because thats what it is a event and limited at that.

i can not imagine many people here being able to handle the blood plague back in vanilla, that was everywhere and infected everyone yet despite being able to do nothing i enjoyed it, hell me and my friend ran into the barrens and hid in a small npc house to avoid it for days.

Fact blizz can do as they wish, if they want to force you into having pvp on (which idoubt is the fact and likly a bug) then they can.
I dont pvp but rather than cry over it i just rolled with it and had fun. if you cant find fun in the event then again dont play for a week.
you have options but forcing blizz to cater to you isnt one of them.

Hmm think I will take my own forum vacation, people be nasty.

The event is a non-issue, I managed to do my questline as it was empty. I was still flagged forcibly though and I will always protest against that. Forcing stuff upon players is not the answer.
