For me it’s Hunter and Ret Paladin, I also love my Balance Druid.
To a lesser extent Demo Warlock and Unholy DK.
I find all other classes to be too much like hard work I can’t do half the stuff I can do with the classes above so why bother.
Elemental shaman at this point will be my pick.
The playstyle fits me and feel like they’re appropriately positioned in the meta.
Fingers crossed they dont nerf it!
Personal opinion:
Hunter
Warlock
Druid
Paladins for life, but i have to admit i also love my blood dk… it feels realy good after the unpruning… so GOOOD. I am garbage blood dk of course, but it doesnt metter, becouse when i am playing new Blood DK. I am thinking about myself as about the GREATEST OVERLORD WHO EVER LIVED, DIED AND THEN WAS RISED on this f… planet.
I’ve never been a fan of Shadow priest in wow but tried it out in pre patch and I’m in love. I don’t mean because it’s OP atm either. I actually find the rotation and spec fun. I think I know what my main alt will be in Shadowlands. I’m not one to care about numbers over fun these days so can’t see me changing my mind even if it gets nerfed.
Warrior feels pretty good.
Enhancement shaman is alot of fun. Haven’t tried elemental yet tho
Shadow Priest, Prot Pala, Frost Mage were best so far
Im just rerolling classes I’ve had to relearn them through levelling, and it’s pretty awesome. Some changes are big, others less. For example initially I scoffed at unprune arcane explosion. After levelling fire mage to 50, it’s pretty swell actually to have it, as are those Alexstrazas Fury Pyroclasm buffed pyroblast that oneshot mobs thanks to guaranteed crits on the opener!
I’m also really enjoying ToD back on monk ATM. I’ve tanked a fair few dungeons as a lowbie (feels wierd tanking SM at 11 haha) but being able to deny Harlan the second spin as he prepares by just insta killing him, that was marvellous.
May i ask how is WW monk now? I’m considering leveling one, but don’t want to waste precious day free off work
Hard to say, I’m not max ATM. So far it’s felt okay and my damage has been decent, but I won’t have a clear picture until I have my entire kit. I’m still lacking big aoe and cleave talent rows. I will say I feel squishier than prior, as I’d usually have afterlife by now (pop healing sphere on mob kill) so I have to watch myself, but I’ve been able to aoe down packs of 6-7 mobs and survive.
Hopefully a max level WW can answer. But without SL systems hard to say as well given we’re losing the BFA tools. Not that any if the covenant spells particularly scream ww
Im having a blast with shadow priest. But ive levelled a vulpie fire mage and it was always the best!
Always hated Shammies, tho i am enjoying this character as I’m levelling.
Prot warrior does feel better now with some more GCD removed.
However i would still have preferred if Shield Block and Ignore Pain was changed to have the same rage costs as in Legion.
If people were supposed to all enjoy the same thing, then one class for the whole game would have done the trick.
Play around and see what you like most.
To some, mage is the best class there is. Others find it boring. Some like demon hunters for its simplicity. Some go for DK for the lore, etc. etc.
Monk is undoubtfully the pinnacle of fun in WoW classes. Nothing ever comes close to it.
Unlike rest that gives you few hours of fun and then eternal boredom, Monk fun lasts forever.
I have been playing a warrior and I recently made a shaman and I love it. It’s my new main.
Easy answer it’s Retri/holy paladin for me it’s so fun playing and my fav zones are classic and wotlk zones for pve leveling.
And mage aswel I feel like a lord of destruction leveling through zones.
Oh and I add Legion zones the best fun there is.
I play DK, druid, shaman and monk, all specs. My favourite though is frost dk. I’m happy to have 2h frost back, even though it’s likely going to be meh in the shadowlands compared to DW frost and Unholy.
Might main blood in the Shadowlands though.
Wasn’t have great fun on my main Paladin for about a week, but I’m starting to get my head around my dps rotation, making things way more fun again.
Just got to work in that little bit of healing we’re left with and it’ll be golden again.
Just finished levelling a Vulpera monk through the lands of Pandas, and throughly enjoyed it. I never got tired of going all ‘Fist of the North Star’ with the Fists of Fury and finishing off beasties with Death touch
Next on the list in a Mage in Draenor!
