What Covenant Would You Pick? (Aesthetic Wise)

I already chose the one I like aesthetically, Venthyr.

I can’t say that I like any of them now, they seem like butchered caricatures of their inspiration sources.

Sadly there are no good options, ugly vampires, ugly abominations, ugly blue winged hoomans and ugly night elves mixed with furries.

I picked the theme Necrolords for my gnome demo warlock just because it fits the character, gnomes can be a bit creepy. My blood elf warlock will look great as Venthyr just for the transmog stuff. I like to think of covenants as just themes for character RP.

I already chose because of theme.
nightfae on most of my characters, except for a kyrian pally, a venthyr shadow priest, and a necrolord demon hunter.

Night Fae, I like the theme of the zone/covenant better and don’t like the other covenant/zone looks. Only thing I would change is turn any fairy NPCs into something else.

Necrolord. What’s more fun than a good ol’ scrap and being able to stitch your arm back on when it gets lopped off.
Being able to play Dr Frankenstein with all the bits I have. Only downside, is it probably stinks, but you would more than likely get used to it after a while.

I like kyrians but my god the leather set helmet looks awful, especially on demon hunters

Both the Maldraxxi are great for the rock music references, and the Venthyr for vampires and bloody-red gloomy decoration.
Not sure… likely Venthyr for aesthetics, since Maldraxxus is quite blanf.

Nightfae its only Covenant what fits wow. Venthyr have that feeling too and rest two are like ripped from some other game and put there to fill space

Depends on race class combo

eg
belf pala>venthyr
human pala kyrian
tauren pala night fae

gnome mage kyrian
dwarf mage venthyr
human mage maldraxus

nelf druid night fae
kultiran druid night fae

tauren druid venthyr

I was lucky on main because I’d have been happy with either Kyrian or Night Fae, and Kyrian was considered optimal in 9.0. I think that people are starting to favour Venthyr now but… I don’t really care. Even today, the effort of switching would be high because I don’t have any Venthyr alts and I’d have to do the whole rep grind. It’s not worth it to me for the few % of increase I’d get.

My alts meanwhile all went Night Fae. Don’t care about the power, it won’t be that big a difference for them, but the mission table troops and conservatory are powerful for resource farming.

I’m cool with anything but kyrian. That lighting combined with those colors is a torture for the eyes. I always had to turn down the screen brightness.

i think ardenweald because im a druid player at heart. followed by revendreth because the zone just looks really cool, then maldraxxus. bastion speaks the least to me. i mean, it looks…nice, its okey, but nothing that stands out or is exciting.

Venthyr because I love Revendreth, and two of my favourite characters (Draven and the Accuser) are Venthyr. I also love the whole dark, gothic vibe.

Biggest thing what annoyis me on Covenant zones is that when you first time go to kyrian zone it says right away that ok this somekind paladin / priest stuff. Only huge neon signs missing what says “If you play paladin or priest this is Covenant what we want you to choose, but ofc you can choose any you like but this how we planned it” after that you kinda can see those guide signs everywhere there what screams that your class is suppososed to take this.

And that same thing is in every Covenant zone

Paladin kyrian, rogue ventyr, DK necro and druid/hunter night fae.

Kyrian or night fae. I did join Kyrian first because of the looks, but didnt like the vesper totem since it was alot of kiting in m+ in s1. Went venthyr but didnt like the looks. Back to kyrian now and having fun with the vesper totem as its actually usable now.
