What do you use your character boost for?

Because of all the fast leveling from those Pre-Events and now also with MoP Remix I wonder, what do you use your character boosts for?

Nothing. I have like 5 or 6 of those still sitting on the character page.

Its the magic of having only 2 toons since 2005.

I dono how you managed that.

I had big streaks of leveling tons of alts in TBC, WOTLK, Cata and even MoP.

Never wanted to try DK? DH?, Monk? or just level any of the allied races? or countless other reasons through the years

It gets worse. From 2005 to 2018 I had only 1 toon.

In BFA I got baited into trying out an alt, who eventually turned into my main (Uda).

And now I think I have 1.2 toons to be honest. Because I barelly play with my former main at all.

Haven’t had one for a long time, I buy regular version of the game.

When I did get them I used them on level 60s to get maxed out professions. But it doesn’t do that anymore probably since they’ve squished levels and broken profs up into expacs.

I kind of enjoy leveling and exploring old expansions, so I’m not a fan of the boost. I used it, but would have rather gotten more trader’s tender or something similar

Its easy to understan really. I get SUPER attached to my toons. Playing something else is amenable to cheating on your partner.

Dont ask me why. Its just the way I am wired.

never boosted any of my alts just the ones provided by Blizz themself.

I mean I have currently thanks to SL and two Months Bundle two more boosts which I could use for RP Characters and thanks to Warmode I realized I would also have a character available in case of Midnight Boost but else I have no idea what to use my character boosts for.
So I am curious, with how many fast level option there are currently, what do you use your character boosts for or do you just collect them like Thanos Stones?

the only boosts i used was for my mage in tbc classic and for my hunter in wolk classic

i did buy char boosts there for my pala and druid - had a lot of fun in icc on them so was worth it.

i wish there was boost in classic era and SoD - woudl make me playu endgame there - without it - cba with leveling.

boosts in retail i just keep no point really used them with how fast leveling in pre-expansion patches is.

i always thought the boosts would expire so i used them on some character i just made. And then after maybe the next expansion i delete them. The only times i really ever felt like using them was in expansions with mission tables wich could make you gold if you had enough alts.

But in general i feel completely disconnected from boosted characters, no attachment to it at all

I was using them on character I wasn’t gonna ever play.

Fast forward now I have 10 vulperas and no dignity.

I would have prefered paying less as well. Not chosen what to use my boost on either. Will be some character for “RP” purposes I guess. As in, just a character I find fitting some mog theme I have on my mind.
