Well, devs made it clear on twitter that they also have opinions and values, and it’s their game so they will make the changes they want, and they’ve decided they want maintenance during peak raiding hours, and there’s nothing we can do about it because it’s their game, not ours. /s

One second costs you a bit under 0.0005c, going off the monthly subscription of 11€. Could be 1-2€ more depending on which subscription plan you choose. If you struggle to pay that, maybe playing subscription based games isn’t something you should be focused on.

Impossible demand, a lack of returning scheduled maintenance which players can plan and plot around simply leads to unscheduled suprise maintenance which players cannot plan or plot around.

And how much contnet do u think they will do with 500K subs? One raid in 1 year? Idk, people already quit cuz lack of content.

You know that wow private servers exist? They function with a fraction of the budget that’s probably 0,1% of that per year and with new content added. Some of them are very creative, like the ones mixing skills. It makes me wonder why world of warcraft doesn’t do WoW seasons/leagues with rewards to keep the game interesting. It’s minimum investment for a lot of player interest. It’s a weird lack of creativity. Not to mention 4 m euro per month is probably enough to make a raid tier every month

I would guess it’s because it’s some sort of whole world upgrade/maintenance/fix and it has to be at a time when Blizz people everywhere can be online (no idea if this is the case, but it’s the logical conclusion).
However if it has to be that time, choosing to do it on a Wednesday is not a great decision for EU players.
