If I could go back in time I wished I main’d a Paladin instead of a Priest.
I tend to chop and change around at each expansion but i think Guardian Druid is probably my favourite. Takes ages to single target kill but AOE is great. One of my favourite Wow moments was tanking Garosh in MoP and wiping the floor with all the other DPS as Guardian damage was insane on that fight.
I’ve got really a really poor memory for spells and what they do, so a lot of classes just screw with me when trying to form a rotation. I know where i am with a Guardian.
Paladin for me. There was a dark period in playing paladins from Cata to WoD but if we ignore that time period, paladin is my favorite.
Second is Death Knights and Warriors. For some odd reason all plate melee classes
My favourite class is monk. I grew up with martial arts films and I really enjoy how all three specs play, particularly windwalker (which I find has a nice rhythm to it).
From a lore perspective, my favourite is shaman. I like the whole communing with ancestors and elements vibe even if the class design itself has been a bit of a mess at times.
Currently Monk.
It fits the Theme of a Somewhat adventurer and suits the current expansion themes
It lets me be Draenei and have the thunderlord chest piece as transmog :>
(+) The reasonings i said above.
Also visual of kicking someone with these long hoofed legs make me shiver, it just has to hurt, like a lot
really enjoying reading why people love what they play.
I’m also a plate monster so my second and third third are:
Paladin. Nothing says hello quite as well as a holy shield to the face.
And dk for the grips and bloody rips.
Fave class is my shaman main but not currently because there’s millions of them everywhere
I will go with my warrior then
Reason why…because the animations are great, they are hard as nails and have great armour sets
I’ve got 80’s of every class, and my favourite tends to be whatever I come back to after not playing it for a while. I love them all.
If I was forced to choose, I’d probably say Paladin because I’ve always liked shiny plate, casting spells and battering things, but druid will always have a special place in my heart.
Warlock.
I love summoners in all games. I just wish they would rework the class a bit cause warlocks dont feel like they still fit into modern wow.
Wish demo locks could decide to either play tyrant big demons combo or a swarm playstyle that focuses on wild imps
Paladin.
Because it’s forgiving, and doesn’t fold like a wet paper towel when you get a little close to the mobs
Demon hunter.
Thanks to Illy daddy.
Fire mage because I like seeing stuff burn, sadly blizz killed that specc.
Druid.
4 specializations, countless shape-shifting forms, lots of distinct themes with nature, feral, and arcane. A super on-point visual gear design and a constantly growing and often-explored story and lore background. Lots of iconic NPCs and narratives and plotlines relevant to the class.
Druid feels like Blizzard’s best Warcraft class. Other classes are done better in other games, but Druid shines in WoW.
Shaman always and forever
Warrior too here.
My first character was a tauren warr back in 2007 or 2008 i think. Something special about the ‘just you and your sword’ fantasy drawed me in.
Also, my only form of dopamine spikes is the charge and mortal strike ability.
Second got to be shaman, dk or maybe dh. I cant decide. So unique and really specific at the same time.
Markmanship Hunter.
I like the the fantasy of an archer and I do not like having a zoo at my feet.
I also liked MM’s niche of doing very high AoE burst damage, alas this is no longer the case, Blizzard’s incompetent tuning made us unviable, let alone good at anything.
My favourite class always has been Druid.
I love the shapeshifting, the versatility of the class and the lore around it.
However, with Dragonflight I picked up Warrior as Protection Tank, and that one also holds a lot of love now. It’s a simple class, and easy to play.
And I just enjoy running around smacking things with my shield.
I am a simple fox.
Hunter due to pre-bfa Sylvanas, in terms of fun Survival hunter for rotation.
I’m starting to get into warrior now after years of not being able to. They have some awesome armour sets and are a lot of fun to play. I made a Mag’har as I loved the idea of a huge Garrosh-like Orc beating the hell out of things with pure anger and two 2H weapons.
Paladin because… well obviously.
