I love it, its great!
Although did they really have to butcher the weekly even more, im starting to take the ‘‘iz not alt friendly’’ side if the weekly is gonna continue to get downgraded this hard

Out of the box the zone is stunning, Blizzard’s art and audio team never fail to deliver.
It’s just a shame that the content team cannot measure up to the same standard.
Yeah, I know, it’s day two of the patch, more is coming, there definitely are things to enjoy in as an open world/solo player, but it gets old VERY fast.
What does week of 9.2 bring, and how did I experience it?
Buggy rares which you’ll probably miss anyway because you cannot get to them fast enough, a slow as molasses bi-weekly quest with rewards that isn’t worth the effort, a new torghast mode that bored me to tears, timegated research á la mobile game, poorly designed jumping puzzles that lack the understanding of the collision system in the game it is built for, a few brainteasers that get old after 2-3 plays before you either figure them out or start using an addon to solve them for you, and of course; a new storyline that I actually enjoyed for about 15 minutes before I got bored and rushed through the rest.
I hope that the coming weeks releases will warrant this godforsaken lack of engaging content at the start of a patch because this lack of things to do is just unseen in ANY game.
Yeah, we’ll get some new M+ dungeons and a new raid to enjoy, a new arena as well, but what about the REST of the game? It takes 4 hours to experience the content this week has to offer, I hope for the love of all that is holy that this isn’t it. The only repeatable content consisted of ZM loops for rares, treasures and gathering nodes. I feel Blizzard could take a lesson from GW2 on how to create open world content that feels way better than the garbage they got going here.
An MMO NEEDS an engaging world that feels alive with plenty of things to do; this isn’t it, chief. As of now, I wouldn’t consider 9.2 worth spending your hard-earned cash on, I did enjoy those 4 hours very much though, but it’s not at a 13-euro-a-month-tier, maybe for 50 cents. Good thing I earn enough gold per day to have some other sucker pay for my playtime through tokens.
Visuals: 5/5

Why the h*** has the biweekly quest reset today on a Thursday, one day after EU launch?
Why the h*** does my progress from yesterday not at least carry over as it did for the Korthia weekly quest?
Who thinks these stupid jump challenges to get to the treasures are fun?
Not even complaining about Feral anymore…
Zone looks nice, though.
If Sara Wons is leading this new sort of design, then god help us for the future.
Nah, its Sara Twos.
Probably design a decent mobile game
Nah, that’d be Sara Juan.
Or Sara Woons.
Who is protected by her Goons.
Who carry all her spoons.
That’d be Reese Witherspoon.
She attacked her husband with 2 guitars - the judge asked ‘first offender?’ She replied 'no, first it was a Gibson then a Fender '
At least it wasnt a ‘‘Dean’’.
i’ve had a lot of fun so far. think people would have more fun if they just tried to play the zone, explore and have fun with it rather than downloading their checklist addons and watching their youtube guides about how to minmax it.
just show up and play and have fun and you’ll get what you need anyway.
the content feels varied, with various quests, fun puzzles, jumping puzzles and what have you. the zone is really pretty and a lot of the npcs are very cute. the rarity of things makes me feel like i’m seeing new things, the difficulty of the treasures makes it an adventure instead of just clicking on treasures that are on the ground or on a tree branch 15 times or having every rare spawn on the map and kill them over and over.
Visually I like Zereth Mortis but after the quests were done I just felt very meh when it came to looking for stuff to do there.
Now as all my lvl 60 alts have unlocked the waystone for this zone, I am indeed looking forward to quest through it and unlock the ciphers. However, this wont happen until I have cleared legacy content for collectables. That is far more rewarding than hunting those abominations of treasures and getting too late for rares.
Now that the latency is gonna and I did the quest chain, I can honestly say I hate it, it´s like Korthia 2.0 but worse.
Art
I love the Zereth Mortis art, I think the design team has done a great job with it. It is absolutely beautiful. If I get to choose whether I want to quest in a beautiful or in an ugly zone, beauty wins big time.
Story
I was happy to see that we get bits and pieces of story with this patch. I like the voiceovers. I used to read quest texts, not anymore. I enjoy listening to the story more.
Gameplay
I have to say, I prefer Korthia over Zereth Mortis. In Korthia, I had to do the chores only once a week to get the chest, in ZM I have to do it twice. There are very few area or daily quests so if I want to get the chores done within one day to be able to do what I actually enjoy, I have to spend an hour running around to find rares and chests. What used to be a fun side activity in Korthia, in ZM is a mandatory chore. I wish we had + 5 dailies and we could skip the whole chests / rares part.
I do the mini-games but I don’t enjoy them.
At my pace, by the time I get to exalted, 10.0 will arrive.
No way I would do this again on an alt.
These are my two cents.
