What should i do?

I have seen alot of such threads and videos about it and it seems to have happened in more occurence in the past 2 years? Yes ?

Probably has to do with lots of lay offs they did this year and last year .

Like funkykitty wrote your best bet is to keep on re opening the ticket .in every response keep your response polite and remain cool headed .a real gm always comes in discussion .it just takes time :timer_clock:

oh thats for sure, in this case its always recommend to stay cool

but even then my inner self is telling me, that things like this aint right

maybe it´s a stupid example but it reminds me of mexico where the mafia using “fear” as an kind of controll"

and i dont wanna be scared about reports/ban when im playing my main game, i wanna have fun, and wants to do the stuff what i want to do

when i playing a mage and im allowed to carry people threw dungeons for gold i wanna do that, without having the fear that the other mages see me as an competition what stealing the customer and because of it they Massreport me

things like this SHOULD be never the case or possible

in league of legends, when you perma mass report for no reason, they turne of the function for you so they dont getting your reports (ignoring your false spam reports)

i just wish a new EU law reformation, that Companys are obliged to have real humans behind these report systems

If it is any solace in the past three months i was reported in arena solo queue in retail just because i was trying to play holy priest .

Everytime the suspension was lifted sooner or later and with one time the gm even acknowledged that it was becoming a menace and they will be looking into the matter of giving some warning to the guys doing it on purpose .

So i would say keep your confidence up and dont worry about it .

False reports should warrant a ban against those players who make said, false reports.

After I would see such as horses head in my player housings bed, I would get so frightened of this that I would sleep with the fishes for the upcoming night at the beach :joy:

Because the finance department is not greenlighting the project of upgrading / updating the backend and frontend of the forums to more modern standards.

Unfortunately this doesn’t happen. The proof I have is the lack of any thread from anyone complaining about being punished for misusing the report function. We see threads about people asking why they get banned quite regularly for various reasons. However, never in the 15+ years that I have been visiting these forums have I read a single post about anyone having been penalized for misusing the report system.

The 2nd point is that I think I had read somewhere that developers are very hesitant to apply punisments to people who overuse the report function, because punishing someone for “misusing the report function” is in the long run destructive because it makes the playerbase hesitant to report an offender out of fear they may get banned themselves for “misuse of the report function”; ie. they prefer to be overwhelmed with false reports and the occassional true report than have no reports at all.

Whenever this dicussion arises, I always bring up that the ideal system, and I expect they actually do implement it, is the one where accounts have a hidden score of percentage of “true positive” reports. The higher percentage of reports that someone submits where a punishment is indeed handed out to the reported player, the higher that score. And then customer support gives higher priority to reports from players with high score. Essentially a “boy cried wolf” system where someone who misreports others en masse ends up having their reports not being taken into account.

People taking advantage of the automated report system should get bans…

Sir you have forgot your keys again at home and climbed on a wrong appartment, your home is the one next door :dracthyr_a1:

My post also got deleted, because was “reported by community” xD
Even though my post didn’t violate any rules in any way possible, it only took required amount of reports for it to be gone. That’s just pure demonstration of how bad this system actually is, because everything is done by “community”, which could be offended by literally every word you use (or for fun).

With such approach, the only possible way to communicate soon would be by using 3rd party tools - imagine loosing your account because of some random unstable dandelion, who got triggered by phrase “you’re greedy”…

I would be sure that some people reported you simply for selling boosts. Not because you are a competition.

Yep. I have seen many say that if it gets hidden then an actual person will decide if it broke the rules or not and so on, but the reality is these mods are overworked and cycle through multiple forums and often just go by “if it caused this reaction, lets just get rid of the post then” because they have maybe 1000s of posts to go through per day.

They said that what happens in their house stays in their house, but what if they were in wrong apartment :dracthyr_a1:

It was just a hypothesis I dont know if they were

No clue what you guys are talking of but if they are insultive remarks towards others then they likely get taken down. Or speak of their bans or… etc, so many variations really that are likely I dont even care begin guessing what it might be but the mods decide and if his still here then I guess the mods saw it fit to only remove so far, I would not tempt fate and continue then of speaking of whatever it were that got them moderated.
