You already promised 2400 in under 500 games, you are closing in on 1000 games now and stuck at 1800. Must suck to be you. Keep goin, you’re doing great sport! this time next year you might actually break 1900 =).

So, apart from rating bashers and trolls, is there someone with some real advice? Cuz i kind of strugle with them, i either lose mana before enemy ( we play warr rdudu) or DH kills one of us before. Its not like we cant win, but we dont have 50% win rate againsr DH teams, and there is lots of them so any advice is welcomed.
Its a hard matchup. Some ideas i have - no idea if it will work, i pretty much stopped playing 2s after reaching 2.4 as disc/hunter.
Pull the DH away from his healer - behind pillars. Root him - healer cant dispell because los. He can dispell it himself from time to time. Follow with clones from a save distance to avoid kicks. You can also bash clone - dont use bash until he used blade dance as he will dodge, dont bash into blur.
While hes cct change the pillar, get distance. Do dmg to his healer with the azerite flame essence and claw trinket If hes stunned. Remember that the DH can dispell claw.
You can try to avoid burns by playing relentless. But higher DHs will Just double stun, only use burn while haste buffed, cage burn or use stunnes from their mates.
Deeper into damp his selfheal is reduced and you could try to go on him. But the cleave damage will put you under presure.

its BFA, everything is dumb as s**t. But ele is a good point not enough people make seeing as its probably the worst designed / most braindead spec in the entire game (like it legit takes less skill to play ele than DH, dont @me).
Mages are always a tough one for me because theyre really only good in one format of PvP, while theyre too good in 3s nerfing them for it while theyre already relatively terrible in 2s etc…
Yea its hard af for me at least, problem i have is, that when i try to pilar and los from his healer, his healer either comes to him, or DH swap to my warr and stick to his healer ( my warr runing out of them and force them to come will prbably help), while he focus my war its even worse as he is quite low vers so hes taking even more dmg.
Tho i have to admit, i try to kite them more than i try to actualy cc them, ill definitely give it a try as it might open some space for me.
Is it even worth runing claw into two dispels? Like thr dmg and mana is nice but still… Guess probably into stun its fine for at least some mana and dmg, right?

Claw is indeed pointless against DH teams - only If both are CCed at the same time and still it will not tick the full duration, but you can use it situational or track the dispell CDs.
Also Gear is a must have. 470+ and stacked versa plus the bis stat for you.
45% versa inside arena without trinkets or procs is the new normal.

Yea my stats towarda resto are quite random, played guardian whole season and recently friend reroled to warr so we wanted to try arenas, ill be more than happy if we hit 2100(mising like 80 or so rn) as we ignored pvp for whole season both. Ive got plenty of versa gear from tank, and thats it.

If nothing works Just ignore the matchups against combs you cant beat. Focus to win all games vs combs you can win. We did the same in 3s.

As far as I understand DH/X is a pretty hard counter ot warrior/X and you have to try to stall the game as long as you can to win in dampening but I’ve never played warr so would have to ask a warrior/healer who has.

As long as one keeps win rate around 50% like 49-50% you can climb rating it is only grind,and who cares about his 2s rating? I think he was farming echoes for corruption and dropped rating/mmr on purpose like many of you here.

Im sure pressing flameshock and lasso off CD while running around a pilar and every now and then pooping out an instantcast the game lights up for you is extremely mentally draining.

Don’t engage this priest mate he just spews out BS on these forums pretty consistently. Isn’t worth the time. Claiming DH is less brain dead than anything really closed the case on that one.
