Rating is only worth something to you. My rating doesnât mean anything to anyone else and other peoples rating means nothing to me. You want 1800 for the mog, great. You want to be in the 0.1% also great.

No, arena was battlegroup based from the start, and you always had real PVP realms in each battlegroup.
Competition at the top was fierce in all brackets, nobody had alts yet and team rosters were fixed. Leveling and gearing a new char was a big commitment, and if you left your team all rating was gone.
