I don’t care about your questions. You could ask that kind of thing about thousands of things in thousands of games.
It’s called gameplay… mechanics… obstacles to overcome. The intent is obviously to make The Maw a little more dangerous at first. The same thing as why we need to buy the upgrades to make getting around in there easier like the teleports and grapples. The more time you spend in there, the easier it gets. If you kill the rare, get lucky and get the mount, it’s a reward. If you complete Torghast tier 8, you earn your progression… it’s not just given to you.
You are entitled whiners that have simply lost the meaning of immersion and fun.

Imagine playing an MMO and complaining about ‘wasting time’ smh
Maw isn’t that large of a zone, I don’t see what the big deal is. Kill the mounted enemies and take their mount.

How is it more dangerous without a mount? It just takes more time to get where you want to go to. If they don’t want us to skip all the mobs, there are other ways. Besides, without a mount I still can skip most dangerous mobs because they reset increadibly fast.
It’s not even about the time we spend in the Maw, it’s barely connected, there is no reason given and without looking anything up via third party sites you do not even know that a mount for the Maw is obtainable. Nothing of this indicates a real meaningful progression, just a time-wasting gate.
But apparently questioning this part instantly means that we are entitled whiners. Right. Well, that says more about you than about me.

I love the way you keep saying things like this. It doesn’t mean anything, you know?
You’re a whiner. You’ll whine no matter what anyone says. Your whine is already made up.

Ironically you whine about entitled whiners instead of realizing that not everyone agrees or has the same opinion.
Your opinion is a fact and anyone who disagrees is an entitled whiner. Way to go. Have a good day

“I know you are but what am I?”
Real nice schoolyard tactics lmfao.

He’s right. You guys need to stop whinning.
In fact I think we should have a 50% slow debuff aswell as a 3 seconds stun/fear every 2-3 minutes called " The Jailer’s Looming Presence " when entering the maw.
It only makes sense that we are afraid of stepping foot in this place thus slowing down our willingness to go forward. And the echoes of the tormented souls being tortured endlessly in the maw surely would frighten even the most fierce and brave of warriors.
This is all for the sake of progression and immersion of course.

There’s already a fear and a dot every ~40s in one of the maw zones.
Maw just sucks. I just stopped going there.

The Maw just feels like its in the wrong part of the expansion to me. It feels more like it should be in a big patch much later like Argus…kinda like we should have built up to the Maw.
Makes me feel abit apprehensive as to what they are going to put in later patches as it will have to be more annoying, time consuming and hard to get around then the Maw…I mean…sheesh…

Then it will feel like Argus did, either way it’s not that involving a space.
The real reason blizzard did it, is so they can extend the amount of time players use in the game, it’s an incredible important piece of data they can show their investors. Especially considering the expansion was delayed, so they got to find a way to crack that number up.
It’s not about making the maw “feel more dangerous” because it’s really not. Most classes just waltz through the enemies there. I usually just auto-run and then alt tab, and do something different.

I usually camouflage and feign death my way around whilst avoiding any and all combat!
To try make it challenging and immersive.
Unfortunately it’s neither of those and is just boring as a result.

As things stand, there isn’t a valid reason other than, it’s to drag out the content because Blizz didn’t get to finish the maw on time
Maybe down on paper as a complete idea it made sense, but at the moment, it just seems we’re running around for the sake of running around. There is nothing dangerous or threatening about the Maw and I feel using that as a reason as to why we don’t have mounts is grasping IMHO
Don’t get me wrong, i don’t care much, but we need to call it as it is

because mechanical mounts like the bike are afraid of the maw (?)
at least we know they will add it in the future.
This is another thing that doesn’t make sense, the mount refuses your call and that makes sense for mounts in general but things like bikes/flying machines/sky golem or similar should work.

Can’t wait for Darkrayne to come up with a ridiculous “progression” fact about why we wouldn’t be able to use our motorcycles we’ve been riding around for years.
Edit: No mounting in the maw is stupid, unnecessary, and just a way for blizzard to make people spend more time in this game. Nothing to do with progression or immersion.

Nice bait. I don’t care about it. Doesn’t need explaining lore-wise, might as well just let us mount any we want if they let us mount those. That’s why we can’t.
