What's up with Tyrande?

They really don’t, you have a clear line of divide between combatants, non-combatants, combat-personnel and non-combat personnel.

There isn’t a single war convention, in the history of man-kind, that condones butchering civilians.

I was upset because no reason was given. They literally showed up and started opening fire for no reason. That’s not morally grey, that’s Scooby Doo evil, you literally do evil things for fun. The change was necessary in actually adding some depth to the act itself, since they were now targetting the vulpera to extinguish the war supplies that they were giving to the Zandalari Empire to aid them in the encroaching Battle of Dazar’alor. So while before the change the Purge Squad was evil for the sake of being evil, after the change it became ruthlessly evil for the sake of safeguarding the Alliance’s war effort. It’s clear which narrative choice is better here.

Remind me which law states that you can’t shoot the guy carrying bullets to the guy shooting your people?

Hey, I’m not saying you were wrong. I’m just pointing out that the Alliance actually doing nasty stuff will not seem to fly with their players.

There’s a difference between nasty stuff for fun and nasty stuff for a good reason. Nobody wants their favourite character to turn into the former, while many do enjoy a good turn from hero to villain, if the characters has actual motives for starting to commit evil things.

Ugh I see I started a riot.

TBF I really was pleased about 7th Legion burning those vermin. Sad though there will be less to skin.

But honestly here, Alliance has been crying out to be more aggressive for ages. It was just lame to see some random Voldum rats being burned and nit Horde members. Alliance pretty much secures big chunk of Voldum with their campaign. So yeah its coming from a faction who needs to be more proactive and decisive when it comes to punishing Horde for their crimes!

The Geneva conventions?

Article 4A. Prisoners of war.

POWs have “prisoner” status, prisoner being keyword. To fall under that special category you have to get captured or surrender first. We are talking about two different things.

I’m not talking about shooting a guy after he surrenders to you, I’m talking about shooting a guy while he’s either firing or helping another guy fire on you.

But in the terms of speaking about the Purge Squads, you have defenseless vulpera huddling in front of Alliance mages.

I am not morally opposed to attacking caravans, I am morally opposed to burning prisoners and personnel alive after the supplies in question are already burning.

The name of the NPC is even “shackled Vulpera”. Like, they are captives.

Guess you’ll lose Silvermoon then, dear Sorceress.

I’ve never actually seen them burn the prisoners so I assume they don’t. There are fox people fighting the Alliance so I assume those are “justified” burnings.

i don’t see soc surviving the destruction of silvermoon being such a blood elf lover

Agree to disagree, hah. “Justified burnings” will keep me chuckling for a bit, though.

they was infected by furrismen it was a dark deed but it had to be done for the sake of all creation

Yes, but it’s not the Alliance who destroy Silvermoon, but we mana-bomb it and the Sunwell so they go down on our own terms :stuck_out_tongue: then the Alliance forgives and forgets so we rebuild it later anyway

Nah, it should be re-populated by the Amani.

Everyone kills Amani in Dazar’alor too…they are a joke really :stuck_out_tongue: and if they become playable they are the ones who have to move away from there, like the Void Elves moved away too

Nah the blood elves will become refugees in Suramar.

You need to transmog those ugly items though. You’re bringing great shame to Quel’thalas right now.

You think a main race would be refugees of an allied one? Not gonna happening…

My Thalassian mogged characters are all 120, until then I’m not gonna bothered

It’s ok, Thalyssra will likely be dating LTT anyway so the blood elves will be welcomed with open arms.
