Giving us Destiny 2 free is the equivalent of your bank showing you round your brand new, free storage unit and saying,
"Now all you have to do is fill this bad boy up with all of your lovely money.

it was not a 1 year bundle at all, just the recuirment to keep an ongoing sub for 1 year whit no brakes in between, I know becuse thats how I did it.
They did at 10 years, where they offered long time subscribers a statue.
I missed it due to having a hiatus of 2 weeks in my 10 year subscription at the time ;/
But, lets play with the idea they gave us something ingame for been subbed for 15 year, what had your idea of a gift then be?
A perma wow tabard that ppl gained from having highest HK on server before BG where added?
A title?, if so, what title had you love it to be?, “Name, Veteran of Azeroth”?, “Name, Protector of Azeroth”?
A mount?, flying or ground only?, mech, beast, undead? (hopefully something unique never seen before in wow atleast).
A pet?, if so, what type? (inbe a small human in GM gear XD!).
A toy?, if so, what?, a banner with the WoW logo on?
Or a toy that increase your toons size, so ppl can see you are a hero!, maybe even with a special aura under your toon (like in warcraft 3) that match your class, maybe even with a buff on saying “Veteran of Azeroth”, whenever you are 40 yr near other player, they get a buff saying “Heroic Pressent”.

I’m not against veteran rewards but beyond the usual kinds of things we already get via achievements this isn’t really going to be any different.

The things that are made unobtainable every time a new expansion releases are pretty much the veteran rewards.

well its not realy that hard they can use the same type of reward that ffxiv does currently they give it on how many days you did sub . Every new tier you get like ingame pet / transmog etc . cannot link it here but if you google ffxiv veteran reward you know what i mean .

The moment they start to care about their veteran fans. Ergo: Never. Look what Diablo Veterans got at BlizzCon. I would rather get nothing than a greedy moneygrabber for mobile. They even dared to call it “fully fledged Diablo experience” even tho they censored EVERYTHING out of the game that made Diablo a Diablo game. And still China not happy about it and wants em to censor it even further until it becomes even worse than the cheapest 0815 pay2win-arpg.
Would be ncie, despite the end game drought of MoP, the bad state of Cata with DS and WoD I never unsubbed. Even when I wasn’t playing (logging in for garrison gold isn’t playing), all the e-mails I have gotten were to advertise new games, new store mounts and blizcon tickets.
The difference is that FFXIV has around forty thousand (40,000) active players worldwide whereas WoW has at least ten times that many.

The option to have your character walk around with a cane!
No excuse, it’s just a database check which has to check how many days you have been subbed. Then make a list with: x days you get y reward and so on. I agree with the people our only thanks for subbing through even the hard times is being told they have a new a mount for you to buy, or get a mount but you ahve to sub for 6 months!
Why not if 365 days subbed you get a HD Lion (A) and HD Wyvern (H) for example.
I agree. Horde should get the Grand Armored Wyvern for continued subbing and you guys should get whichever is the equivalent.
I was just saying that WoW still commands a lot more subs and so a great deal more money.
They don’t feel the need to be bargaining with us.

True many of stayed subbed regardless of how bad it was, I mean I stayed subbed during the Dragon Bore raid for a few months not even playing, the MoP SoO drought? I stayed subbed, only logging for garrison gold? Subbed…
I think they take us for granted, that we will tolerate content droughts and bad patches forever. Well at at the very least I had DIII thanks to DS fail raid, regardless if it was bad it was still a free game. Well free, wanted to unsub for 5 months atleast that time, the sub was and still is € 12.99 thus I essentially paid € 64.95 for a mount and game. If only they would update the charger, I loved that mount but it’s so outdated I can’t use it anymore:(

The game has been out for 14, nearly 15, years. The amount of loyalty would be ridiculous.
F14 has loyalty rewards but they stop them after 330 days.
If a game is to last a long time loyalty schemes just dont work.
They have however given two loyalty rewards in the past:
the first one was the annual pass where you agreed to sub to WoW for a year. So many complaints from people who didn’t want to sub for a year but agreed.
The most recent the flying ship and yet again so many complaints but this time you only had to buy 6 months.
Players want loyalty rewards but dont want to be loyal!
Loyalty rewards is not something you should have to pay for! I got them at stores where I shopped for years on end, it went: “This week x is free for always buying your magazines here” not “Pay me 6 a 12 weeks now and receive an extra magazine!”.
Loyalty reward could simply be subbed for 3 years in total? Get a mount, 5 years? A title, tabard and cloak. For free.
You just gave me an idea!
A toy that put a yellow (or blue for daily) “!” over your toons head.
Other ppl can then run over to you, click on you like your a NPC, take a quest from you with random text on it, like “back in my days, AV lasted for 20 hour!”, “back in my days, we first got mount at lvl 40, i had to run so much” ect., once the player have completed the quest, they say “Cool story Bro!” XD.
