lilâdonkey > any flying donkey tbh
Hardly anyone is buying tokens hence why they are staying put around 180k and not the 350k + we saw in legion.
If i want the pig i will buy the pig with gold ive earnt ingame thus making it an INGAME item in my mind.
I think new games coming out that could be bought with bnet balance had a big impact, there were probably other things too. But the gold value was definitely higher then.
I donât see the logic. So because youâre paying 180k for a token instead of 350k it becomes an in game itemâŠ? It is an in-game item by all means if youâre just looking at it from the player with 50 million golds perspective, my point is that if you donât want to encourage the store buying stuff with tokens is arguably worse than paying with real money.
As for the token price, of course the token cost way more in legion, everyone was making a million gold a week and legion added the extra option of turning it into 13 euros so you could spend it on anything on bnet.
Itâll probably spike again next blizzard/activision game on the store like punyelf said too.
I donât think the token value is relevant really. Either way you can buy the store items/services/game time/games from battle net balance.
This is aimed at a certain type of player, the kind that thinks BFA is a good expansion are also likely to believe that pigs can fly. You can smell the desperation.
