When you are falling

im all for the trampoline now!

As someone who has bad reflexes and has mounts bound to very important places (F for Flying, G for Ground), it happens to me more than I care to admit… I am thankful that accidentally casting any ability does not dismount you, or the number would be higher!

At the moment my most played class is Mage so I am able to press the emergency button. But I still do not see why re-mounting while falling should not be a thing. What is so “OP” about it?

Yea. It’s annoying for death knights, since you just go SPLAT when you fall

Try being a mage.

Slowfall, blink, iceblock are all ready to save you.

Ofc… but besides druids, i just leveled a druid a few days ago and it’s ruined me for life, i keep trying to cast the mount instantly on my other chars now. :joy:

We need more goblin classes. Rocket jump for the win!

Gw2 gliders are separate from backpacks (alltough can be transmogged to look same theme). Gw2 glider works just just demon hunter glide but you can change the look of your “gliding device” via transmog - however there is no actual device, it’s a skill and what you transmog is skins.

Gw2 also has “mount in the air” function which is pretty fun and handy, making moving more interesting. For example you can launch yourself from launch pad or jump from the edge, then first hit glide on and then further turn the flying mount on, allowing you to adjust your height and/or go faster.

It is really fun. So probably not something they ever would implement in wow.

Yeah lets take more of druid uniqueness and give to others.
How about NO !

What is this “falling” thing you are talking about…?

A bit still morose we engineers can’t tinker with our legendary cape to add the parashute…
Thats why we have ~60 gliders all the time in the backpack… :smirk:

Shame Mages cant use that as an arial attack… basically they are frozen meteroites with that
BOOM AoE damage on impact…

Yeah what idiot thought that out? I so rarely used the legendary use item and if I had a choice I would have replaced it with my engineering glider.

I’m not sure I ever used that cape…

All you have to do to avoid falling damage is miss the ground when you reach it.

nica attempt to nerf net o matic! not gonna happen son get rekt with fall damage!

You must be British? The British calls everyone son.

death knight problems me thinks

No not really. I always use my glider. Just think it is a silly game design or restriction. Same like how Blizz have designed other parts of the game that always annoys me like how you can never jump over a balcony in some dungeons as their are invisible walls. You have to go down the stairs. Or in some BGs my DH can’t jump on the roof of the farm house in Arathi Basin as they have created invisible walls stopping you yet you can easily walk onto the roof at Gold mine etc.

Lets say you are flying an airplane in real life and it stalls. Obviously you are going to try and restart the engine. Same thing with your flying mount. Obviously mages and priests will have an advantage as they can slow their falling speed and summon their mount each and every time unless you are DK of course when you are too low, you will most likely still hit the ground hard and die or lose significant amount of health. I don’t see how that is a game breaker.

eh im not a fan of being to remount while your falling, this would kill any world pvp if you want to dismount someone with the pvp gun, not to mention it removes a lot of risk from making a mistake / falling off something
