I still see plenty of people in Boralus/Mechagon/Natzjatar/Zuldazar, in fact I have seen more since classic dropped.
I do know that LFG/LFR has been taking forever for the past year or so, particularly if you try it during a certain time of the day.
I think the versus wars are also a bit of artificial. And thing of minority from either side. I mean I have past days heard in classic or in modern people say how they subbed for classic, but have found modern refreshing too after the break (or 1st time !).
There are most certainly people, who think they are superior to others because they like âhardcore classicâ or âmore skilled modernâ, but I have also learned those are not very nice people interact with anyway and seem to have self esteem issues so better let those people sit in their bubble and better not burst it.

AD doesnt look any different than it was pre-classic release. As role player I see no reason to leave game version which offers you way more rp options than classic.
i know its one (two) person doesnât effect a whole server, but T&E have left AD for now to play classic. maybe theyâve dragged a lot of people with them, at least for the short term. maybe other bigger RP players on AD are also trying classic atm?

Pretty much that. As you say, theyâre two people, and Streamers are not generally held in such slavish regard on RP realms because they have a bad track record of behaviour( Not T& E in particular, but pretty much all the other big names have alienated a lot of folk).
From what seems to be the case, is that I seem to be pretty standard for the Argent Dawn player base right now. Iâll dabble in Classic, make a character or two, play them when I have nothing to do on Retail, will give RP a shot on it, despite Classicâs limitations as an RP setting, but Retail is always going to be my main game, it just offers so much more possibilities for lore and RP. You -can- enjoy both, its not a binary settingâŠ
Itâs actually a bit unnerving when you look at the Heroic Dungeon finder and see that you get a bonus for dps if you sign up since theyâre lacking.

AD is very much alive and far from ghost town, although with the release of Classic it appears more empty so I can see the OPs point and thatâs the case with all retail servers
