Well I liked the new or should I say the old High elf ranger general Sylvanas. But considering the forsaken mounts and weapons that was datamined on wowhead. Seems Blizzard is going to have Sylvanas go back to being the Banshee queen as all the new Forsaken stuff has her Banshee queen face on them and not the Desolate Council symbol which is a skull.
So I wonder if Blizzard is really going to retcon Shadowlands entirely. Or if its Banshee loyalists that going to rebel against the Desolate Council.
She may have burned her bridges with both Alliance and Horde but it would make sense for her to come back in Midnight and Protect Silvermoon again. Even if she not welcomed back to the Horde or the forsaken, Im sure she will fight for Azeroth.
She is pretty much same boat as Tealāc and Tomin from Stargate now.
Sylvans also had a voice inside her, telling her what she was doing was wrong. It was an echo of her other half of the soul. Sylvanas choosed to ignore the voice inside her. Considering Zovaalās death magic āDominanceā was incomplete it split the soul of Uther, it also split the soul of Sylvanas. Its also why the Forsaken it falling apart when they shouldnāt be. The Lich king helmet and Frostmourne sword was created when Zovaal had only begun creating his new death magic.
If Sylvanas was still the Banshee queen, Im sure she told Tyrande to goā¦ (You know what) when Sylvanas was being sentenced. But now that Sylvanas is the High elf Ranger general again (Her soul is whole again), she accepted the punishment without question.
Also I donāt think Nathanos was a bad guy, Sure he was an Aā¦ (Had to been his skill with a bow that made her fall for him) but He did everything for her, even being dead he still loved her. And seeing how Sylvanas was a living High elf, I donāt think Sylvanas had pick Nathanos as a lover if he was a bad guy. At Lordaeron after the Burning of Teldrassil, at the end. Nathanos refused to leave Sylvanas side so she gave him her bow to hold on to it until she arrives on the airship. If he stayed her plans would be ruined so she had to make him leave.
Then also at the Burning of Teldrassil, when Sylvanas gave the order to burn the tree. He hesitated. He probably thought in his head (Wait, what!!), You can clearly see it on how he reacted. She repeated the āOrderā and he obeyed the order.

Vereesa really needs some more character development. I really wanna see her come to the foreground more.
All she does is cry about how the bad the blood elves are, for joining the Horde.
If she comes back, I want the racist, nasty, Blood Elf-hating Vereesa Windrunnerā¦her whole arc at the start was to be opposed to Blood Elves.
MoP Vereesa is my 3rd favourite characterā¦I want her backā¦not the crybaby we got afterwards.
Her punishment is playing Shadowlands with chores for many many years.

Everyone who says sheās in the Maw, you are all lying. I have been doing stuff in all of the Maw both during Dragonflight and TWW, and I have never encountered her.
Unless she logs on different times due to time zone differences.
We need Magatha as Horde Warchief and MoP Jaina + Genn as Alliance Leaders?
Also, Iām on the camp who would prefer to see Nathanos again rather than Sylvanas.

Their protests were vicious in terms of language and protest forms, and they were pissed about a lot of things.
I thought they were closer to what South Park depicted, where they just yelled but in the end they all smoked pot.
Thatās an unfair caricature but somewhat poignant in that they protested a ton but never actually did anything real about any of it. Well, maybe a few things. They managed to ban nuclear energy in Denmark for exampleā¦
But their protests were vicious all the same.
