Which quest line holds great memories for you?

does trauma count?

The stranglethorn page quest.

The DK starter quest line and Worgen starter zone. I never get bored of those two.

Also, the Thousand Needles horde quest line where you help the Freewind Brave (post Cata). It’s been a while since I last did it.

I loved that one too.
I also just remembered the quest that always leaves me in tears … Alicia’s Poem (Caylee Dak). It’s such a beautiful poem anyway (my daughter read the original at my husband’s funeral) but the way it’s been adapted to fit into WoW makes it very special. It also has a sad ‘back-story’ to it

Only to get to Stormstout Brewery, and his own family telling him he isn’t welcome - kinda felt sad for Chen there.

Too hard to single one out - Hogger, Shadowmourne, Taivan, etc. If i was forced to choose one, it would be the one where the drunk dwarf punches Deathwing on the nose- always makes me laugh

The Duskwood questline that summons Stitches to attack Darkshire was pretty cool.
It’s still there but it’s not quite as good as it used to be back in Vanilla. Back then Stitches was a really tough elite and would leave a trail of destruction in his wake including many players taking a dirt nap.

Ah yes, the Lost Vikings tribute.
Loved Lost Vikings back in the 90s.

i missed this thread. mmm many memories…

probably the tirion fodring one in pre cata eastern plaguelands. Same zone, darrowshire.

More recently i guess the bwosamedi\rastakhan questline ending in zuldazar raid or

The legion class questline - i played’em all and dk and pallys were the my preferred.

and many more. i could write an essay about it. so better stop.

A few come to mind.

1: Westfall Defias chain in Vanilla. And then the Onyxia reveal when you get to endgame.
2: Mistmantle quest, also in Vanilla. Took you to all previous zones to gather clues
3: Ring of Blood in Nagrand. First quest like this in wow and met so many people there
4: Karazhan attunement in TBC / Nightbane attunement questchain
5: the ‘through the Dark Portal- quest’

Yes, I love Outland

There have been a lot of questlines I’ve enjoyed, either because of their depth, their length, or even because they have been funny. But the one’s that are always in my mind::

  • The classic Westfall “campaign” until you return with Van Cleef’s head to the town. This was the first time I felt like an accomplished adventurer in WoW, and it was on a trial account before I created this one.
  • The new Redridge campaign, especially the part where you are on a tank together with Rambo-wannabe
  • The new Badlands questline with “The Day Deathwing arrived” or what it was called. Possibly the most I’ve laughed during WoW. I have gone out of my way to play it on all my alts over lvl35.
  • The… uh… middle (?) Uldum campaign which was a literal Indiana Jones ripoff (and also had Gnomebliteration!)
  • The Argus campaign. I always viewed Velen as the typical “I r typical plot armor leadah, you go do stuff for me” until I played it. “Light be with you, Illidan Stormrage”

Escorting Flynn Fairwind in bfa was glorious, dude was dead drunk and it was probably the only escort quest theyve ever managed to make fun.

Without a doubt my Dreadsteed questline.

Not much is known about it, but I loved the Sensiria small quest chain in Feralas.

A female shen’dralar turns her lover into a demon because he wanted to take exile from Kalimdor and join the High Elves. (She also was turned into a Succubus.)
Shame it was forgotten because it would have been ideal to have Sensiria back in Legion; perhaps making reference to her former Highborne colleagues in Suramar.

Looking for the one orcs wife in durotar and not have clue where to go look for her from the whole durotar. Escorting mechanical chickens that are almost impossible to escort undisturpted on pvp realms back in the day. Quests that involved wailing caverns and that never got finished before outleveled the zone.

Mankrik’s wife. a nightmare back them. and after… thottbot came.

Yes, it was like travolta lost meme. Got the entire durotar to search. Finding Rexxar in desolace too and asking in general if anyone seen rexxar :joy:

The Vanilla warrior quest: drunk Redridge gnoll run.

Oh, and I forgot the Draenei heritage questline. It took forever to come and I didn’t expect much … but it was long and it was detailed and I’'m so glad they did us proud.
