Yeah, a storywriting problem when one character has become too powerful at one point, which is why they’ve also locked him away in Ardenweald for now.

Its because its so generically ‘sexy’ TBH. Kinda like Marilyn Monroe doing that breathy stereotypical helpless girlie voice… or I suppose the male equivalent would be the movie voiceover guy.
Its probably the same reason people hate the Toddy voice, only instead of generic Scottish its just generic ‘sexy’ instead!

I dont mind the voice or personality of Lady Moonberry…its just the appearance.
They might of been cute if they were fairies but they arent, they are humanoid butterflies/moths.
Meaning they have weird fur and carapace bodies and are really just a different variety of nerubian or mantid!
Without a shadow of a doubt it’s Toddy Whiskers. She’s the most irritating character blizzard ever made.

Oh good god no. I shudder every time I hear that voice say “Hey… isn’t that my compass” Generic “sexy?” She makes a cold pile of porridge sound almost exhilarating.
And every time I heard Marilyn Monroe’s voice I always felt “why doesn’t someone tell this airhead the squeaky voice was amusing for 5 seconds a very long time ago but now it’s just ‘eurghh… Again?’…”
Anyone who even for a second is under the illusion that Toddy has even the most basic Scottish accent is just as deluded as the voice actors who think they are using a Scottish accent. But then again, Blizzard is an American company, and as far as Americans are concerned Scottish people begin and end with Groundskeeper Willy and Shrek.
Someone really ought to tell Mike Myers to spend a few months in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee, especially on the weekend, and see how far he would get with his “accent”
And then to make it worse someone somewhere used what can only be described as a laughably bad Scottish accent on a dwarf and the world has decided “Yup. That’s how dwarves sound!”
So Blizzard are not only butchering an accent they are also using a racial stereotype.
Imagine the uproar if they used American racial stereotypes.
Nathanos + Shaw in Seething Shore. Only place in the game i immediately mute sound. They talk all over your music and the sound of pings and just the cool sound of your abilities.
It has so be Chromie, such annoying character.

They try to replace Harrison Jones and the one and only Brann Bronzebeard with him, but man, he is top n.o. 1 most annoying character. Especially since he don’t die early in the story.
I don’t think Rannan is that annoying, but I do think it’s a bit lame how Blizzard decided to forget their existing characters and just make a whole bunch of new ones.
That one quest turn-in npc, in shadlowands irrc, who would move mms out of interactable clicky range and proceeded to almost crash the collective communitys mind
