my point is if they are like me. they are wasting time for some people that are at my age and my level.
some people are wealthy and have a lot of time to have fun with those and its not my business

Personally I am of the belief that nothing is truly a waste of time.

Even if it’s literally pointless in every other way and serves no purpose, but its fun for you. Then I think it functions as a stressrelief which is something very important for each person.

I don’t subscribe to the idea of “making the dough” as the only way to effectively spend your time.

Cause in the end everyone is trying to live their life in whatever way brings them the most joy. For some thats having a luxurious house, tons of cash etc. And for other like me it’s just getting to have the time to spend with those that matter to me, getting to do my hobbies that I love like dnd,WoW and even league, tHat’s enough for me.

I think it’s important to strive for things and improve, but the reason for that is to feel achievement and like you’ve done something, which is purely a matter of perspective.

For some they’ll feel like they wasted a day by playing for 2 hours, for me I’m just happy I could surpass my anxiety enough to get a workout in today among the other hobbiues and work etc.

TLDR: Having fun makes something worth it imo, even if it’s just for stress relief

For the 20 years Ive played this game Ive seen it repeated that “fun is not allowed” are you meaning to tell me now that fun actually in fact would be allowed!! :scream:

All of the times that I could had fun but instead listened others instead of doing what I self want or deem worthy… :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

Im joking, I dont put much value on what other people think of what I do or like.

I do in fact have a ton of fun with the game.

here I’ll even give you my most insane take.

I love league and WoW, both are considered insanely overtuned and long running and not fun anymore in alot of people eyes, but I am still deeply in love with the lore, gameplay with friends (goofy or ranked) to such a degree I couldn’t care waht others think.

i get moments where I forget the time and just have fun with a smile on my face when I head to bed afterwards, and that makes it all worth it to me.

I’m happy to hear that, I think you are very wise to have chosen enjoyment inspite of the popular belief

Its a video game that we purchase, the base assumption should be that we are suppose to do whatever we please with it in the limits of the games rules of course.

you know thats right but from what i understood from your opinion.
i can say it depends on these things.
your age.
your wealth.
your goal in life.
and in the end : if your satisfied or no.
for me it was like this 10 years ago fun was something completely different
because i had more money more time less age.
but now i see fun in getting those because its mixed with my new situtation.

and for the battle pet of the topic i can say.
10 years or god know how much years ago i had a battle pet i dont remember the name.
but it was half size human (not dwarf or any other race ) i renamed it to Jackiechand or brucelee :rofl: :rofl:

I must be really boring cos over the entire time I’ve been playing wow (since TBC) my fun has not changed, has never been affected by money or time.
