Should, yes.
Look at cloth, what happened to that. It’s more expensive, or at least equal, buying cloth than it is purchasing a full shirt. The work is worth nothing.
Just wait, it’ll be those robots making it so that food markets close cause no one ever buy their own food to cook.
No one has any time living life anymore, too much going on.
It IS cheaper, but the ingredients are so expensive people have to cut a lot of dishes and ingredients because they can’t afford them. I wrote that in my post, so not sure how you missed it.
Sorry, I must have gotten the wrong idea. If all the ingredients at all the forms have become overpriced, then there is a huge problem. The households should really start protesting that situation then.
At our home if an ingredient is more expensive than we like, we tend to find substitutes. There are some fish that are less “fashionable” than others which can be used the same way depending on the dish.
In Greece, we had like 2 years were the olive oil reached unreasonably high price. A lot of households decided to cut down their use of olive oil and started including other oils, especially in cooking (normally we use olive oil for everything that is not deep frying). Eventually the price gouging olive oil brands ended up with so much surplus that they had to sell it at much more reasonable prices before their stock reached expiration date.
Sometimes another alternative is frozen vegetables, meat and fish. Because they are frozen their cost is supposed to be lower due to having a much larger window to be stored and sold.
The vigilance against price gouging is eternal, especially in food.
It’s true if quality was getting better. They have erased guild banks as a result of a bug, they didn’t even compansate players, just said “wont happen again”. Bugs are staying longer, class balances are getting less tuning, pvp got tons of problems, story aint strong as before, factions are no longer in war in Warcraft, even expansion reveal cinematic was not better than old cinematics. Oh also support side of the game getting replaced with AI, GM’s are almost powerless, can’t fix a simple problem because they don’t have access to old tools such as recovery of items, replacing items etc.
Ive said this before wow is a mirror image of destiny 2 model it all started with a few cash shop items and shorter expansions with a few players saying how nice it is to have them on a premium game.jump to the present they get more and better cashshop items then in the actual game they paid for… we are worst of since we also pay for subs.
We will catch up to them in no time
We alredy miss a qa team, support has been reduced to AI and the ingame shop looks bigger then ever with the housing stuff coming…
So yea amazing idea from the Op increase the sub according to inflation.
If you want a good idea of how things will end for a price uptick, go look at nintendo’s actions of telling developers to create new games for switch 1 even if they’re coming to switch 2 so that they are ‘backwards compatable’ (read: can be sold to the market of switch 1 owners).
Go look at companies that tried to push prices above 70, or even at 70 ever since baldurs gate came out for 60 that have had to dial their prices down again.
You will lose more people then the price hike will be able to make up for and since a subscription being active is just a tickbox in a database, quantity of amount of subs is interesting cause it costs little to nothing to keep an account active.
I don’t think norwegians know how to protest, besides whining at the system and politicians online. We also have to eat, so can’t just boycott. With the power prices we hadde a massive uproar online that did cause the government to pay parts of the bill for us the last 2 years. The prices were unbarably high in 22/23. I am not sure I can even describe how bad it got in southern norway. Luckily those prices ended up collapsing, as nobody realisticly could pay that. It is still high however, so the government is starting a new payment system for covering part of our bills from october 1st. this year. With the food prices however, they hven’t really done a thing, but it is still discussed. They did however lower daycare cost for example, by quite a lot, so then we can move the saved money from that over to the food budget. It’s complicated, but I have never counted every “penny” the way I do now, for that reason. My salary did also go up, but the rise has been eaten up by the cost increases, so I never felt my salary rise. I just felt more poor.
So yes, all things considered, I find WoW to be very expensive, and for every month of WoW I pay, I think of what else I am not buying for that money instead. This was never a concern at all some years ago. Back then WoW felt like cheap entertainment, because normal living expenses wasn’t eating almost all my salary. Not Blizzard’s fault Norway went off the charts with expenses, but it’s the very oposite of enjoyable(since I can’t write that other word I am thinking, here).
Didnt they just sell €90 mount lol, thats pretty expensive mount. They are making enough as it is, I dont need to pay more for this. I play pvp so a lot of things are of no benefit to me and I dont even see them doing proper tuning or fixes on various things.
How much work is it really to use pvp template and put nerf on retri example, they even buff the most broken thing in pvp for season 3 cause they didnt use pve template for the vast amount of buffs they just gave it across its spellbook and now they are not even nerfing it lol, even monthly sub is pushing it if they cant even do fair tuning on obvious issues breaking the game on their competitive game modes now full retribution rerollers.
Where is the class tuning even, how many more weeks we have to wait for retri nerf. I’m tired of seeing same spec in every game cause its so broken that they dont even need to have any clue what they are doing and it dont matter. I sure have to know on my healers or warlocks or mages and both were nerfed multiple times but then we got some retri so broken that anyone can now start it with OBR and do a lot pressure without having a clue. And the best part is that we wait 30min ques for these games, well I wouldnt pay more for this. The lack of care could not be more obvious.
