Why Blood Elves are in the Horde (new book spoilers)

I tried looking it up, and even though you seem te be correct in that Thrall’s taking on the mantle of leadership was a continuation of the Horde as a faction…that’s really where it stops, and this is where I think you’re grasping.
It was indeed Doomhammer that harmed Quel’Thalas, but it wasn’t Thrall or those of his generation or there after.
Why should the Blood Elves blame those that didn’t wrong them in favor for the alliance and night elves that were actively trying to kill and sabotage them in their darkest times, after the loss of the Sunwell and 90% of their people…not even the old Horde came close to managing that.

Sorry man, but this one really is grasping…it’s not like those undead chose their actions, is it? They were mercilessly slaughtered, risen and used against their will to kill everything and everyone they loved, greatest example Sylvanas Windrunner - former ranger general of Silvermoon. Am I wrong? How could one hold it against them, they began fighting back the Scourge the moment they broke free, and later on send help to Quel’Thalas so that the Blood Elves may survive.- I think that even counters your point.

Technicalities when speaking about the fall of Silvermoon and the Blood Elves joining the Horde?
Neither the Darkspear or the Tauren ever set foot in Quel’Thalas before World of Warcraft, they certainly didn’t have a hand in burning it down or genociding it’s populace, neither did Thrall or those of his age or younger, and the Forsaken were abused against their will and aided Quel’Thalas the moment they regained their freedom and a stronger footing.
Compare all that to the Alliance and the Night Elves actively trying to bring down the remnants of the race at the start of the Burning Crusade, Garithos and the Alliance sending Kael’thas and his strongest out on suicide missions, holding them captive in Dalaran in orde to execute them, you realise all of that isn’t just Garithos, right?
I mean, it could’ve been written clearer, beter, but then the Alliance wouldn’t have an excuse, as they usually do- But to me, it’s rather obvious why the Blood Elves decided to take their chances with the Horde, not like they actually had another choice left, and a hand was extended to them.

Thrall is not Doomhammer :relaxed:
Vol’jin is not Zul’jin :relaxed:
Sylvanas is not Arthas :relaxed:

Malfurion is Malfurion though.
Tyrande is Tyrande.

Regent Lord Bolvar Fordragon is not Arthas or Garithos Othmar :relaxed:
But Magni Bronzebeard is still Magni Bronzebeard.

The Blood Elves did in fact not judge the Alliance on the actions of Garithos Othmar, while he did contribute to the High Elves leaving the Alliance of Lordaeron, he did not prevent the Blood Elves from trying to reestablish contact with the Grand Alliance, it is why there is a dwarven “ambassador” in Eversong Woods, afterall.

This attempt at diplomacy from the Blood Elves, however, made it easy for a collusion of the Night Elves and Ironforge Dwarves to betray the Blood Elves and potentially sabotage and invade the lands of Quel’thalas.

Garithos Othmar first scared the High Elves away, the Grand Alliance caused the ‘eventuality’ of the Blood Elves joining the Horde out of sheer desperation.

Well… yes she is.

Well, I guess she technically is now.

But back then she was not!

She even mirrored her own creation with Teldrassil and Delaryn.
