Can we get playable naga now? Since mechagnomes can’t wear some transmog pieces as well. I’d throw money at Blizzard for a cool white naga DK.
Until we see hair colours we don’t know that for certain (it’s very probable though).
Be that as it may, I personally don’t think two races should be able to look exactly the same. Just my opinion.
Swingable on opposite factions as technically it’s unique to each. But two races on the same faction that can look exactly the same? Hard sell for me.
I’d rather blizzard put effort into giving us way more arm and leg choices, head mods etc and colours to compensate us for our mog debt, than wipe off the debt. One solution leads to distinctness, the other just homogenises things.
I’ll reiterate, this is personal opinion and I see no good reason why the option shouldn’t be there and I don’t begrudge people who want it I just think blizzard will be less inclined to invest in the unique mods for MGs if you don’t have to see them, you know?
One of my suggestions in the MG thread has been more liberal mods as options, like one limb only, or one eye only. I’d rather we have more choices all round but if we pick a mechanical part, it has to be on show. And at least one facial mod and one limb mod must be present (otherwise you’re just a gnome with different hair).
But less invasive mods that do allow mog? Sure thing. Like arms with flesh tears with metal underneath for example, or a simple eye replaced with a bulb. I’m all for these. But if the limb is entirely mechanical in an obvious way, it should be on show in my opinion.
Smack Paxmillian on the nose with a rolled up newspaper
Bad Borg-wannabee! Bad! No assimiliation for you!
Ryder’s calling, chicken stuck up a tree again. Hop to it Paw Patrol!
Because it’s a poorly designed allied race, just as everything in alliance. Blizzard horde devs don’t care. It’s sad.
If there was just more robe/skirt/kilt options for all classes it would help .
I do not wear the void elf set as its pants not skirt yet they give both options to belf robe/panties .
Because the execution could be better imo. I think the sharp cutoffs where the limbs start is the biggest culprit. The color scheme of the robot gnome would be less of an issue if you had the option to extend the transmog into some shorts and a t-shirt for example because the transition from mog to arm or leg becomes smoother. Sleeveless and tighty whities makes the arms and legs part of the transmog.
Undead is the same except undead gets t-shirt and shorts so it looks presentable.
Yea its super hard to make them look good they need to remove this stupid restriction !
This is the best i could do with my rogue
And this with my warlock as u can see its suuper hard to mog them… im still not happy with my rogues mog
But the same thing happens with Nightborne and Nightelf. Blood Elf and Void Elf. Goblin and Vulpera. Mag’har Orc/Normal Orc Etc.
At least Mechagnomes have a completely different idle animation. The robotic twitches etc, plus there’s a tooltip that shows what race you are.
I think allowing players to choose whether they want legs or arms robotic is a great idea. You still have lots of facial and hair augments that let you show off your mechagnomes. Just legs and arms being constantly on display, makes making a decent mog almost impossible.
A few clothie things I threw together in 5-10 minutes trying to aim for pieces from each expo and not using the heritage set or the SL mog set. I use the two furthest left on my lock (mileage may vary).
As it says ingame, “superior engineering”.
The one of you have on is pretty cool. Just a shame that every single mog has to be based around the arms and feet. Even if they gave more colour options for the metal it would be a start.
The thing is im like super ocd about it… if the weapon isnt matching or the mog isnt according to my fantasy about that character i just cant wear it xD also mounts need to match 2 xDDD im hopeless
I get that. I’m similar. I’m fortunate I have all the mechagon wep skin mobs, and i’ve hunted out all of the techy weapons outside of Uldir which fortunatley match the colour schemes I tend to run with. Atm MGs ar elimited to running a gold scehem, a blue/silver one or a rusty one.
This is why I think more paint job options would benefit us. I don’t mind limiting myself to colours (I do it on other races where it suits, for example draenei use a lot of gold and purple, velf a lot of blues and purpples) the issue with MG is you have to strictly obey it because of their limbs, and there’s only 3 to pick from.
Forget High Mechagnomes give me Lightforged Gnomes with a palading class.
could you maybe do the same for plate please? asking for a friend.
true, but then again a warrior would kind of look weird with a dress on. i wouldnt like that. i just would like the option to look good both with and without robes.
I will, but in the meantime here’s one I have to hand, though it was mainly about showcasing the new skin tones (on mobile device ATM and dressing room is pants on it) gnomes 2, 3 and 6 are plate sets excepting 6s belt. 4 is mail and 5 is cloth.
I’ll post a mock up here tomorrow for some plate looks, but what I do after that is make a giant showcase post in the Mechagnome thread with several for each armour class and weps too as well as where you get them. Could serve as a handy reference for peeps!
