This is quite funny because by using royal terminology, Sylvanas only highlights the fact that she is an usurper. Everybody realizes that she has nothing to do with Lordearonian line of succession and despite that she:
-
Before attacking Gilneas, claimed that dead Lordearonians are still the same people so she didn’t create a new nation which could somehow legitimize her rule.
-
Named her most prominent organization a ROYAL one… So they should not be answering to someone not of Lordearonian line of succeasion (check point 1).
-
Named herself Queen (of Lordearonians). This is a textbook act of an usurper. You don’t NAME yourself royalty. You are born into it.
All it would take for Sylvanas to be a “legitimate” ruler would be to proclaim that Forsaken are a new people and are starting anew. But no. She made it clear that they are continuing the traditions of Lordearon. So she is an usurper.
Then again, I suppose that Blizzard simply didn’t think about that because “Banshee Queen” sounds cool.

Well, Lich Queen would have been TOO obvious…

Actually… it’s really not.
Mount Hyjal would then become an Alliance bastion surrounded by Horde lands on three borders (East, South, and South), possibly North too. It would be cut off from any easy Alliance reinforcement, even more so than Teldrassil was.
There was, after all, a reason Kaldorei civilians flocked to Teldrassil after the Third War : it was easily defensible, a lot more so than Hyjal, and far away from the Horde and the remnants of the Legion.
The Night Elves returning to Hyjal after losing Darkshore and Ashenvale would be suicidal.
What I would like to see is the NE and Draeneï rebuild Azuremist Islands as a true Alliance bastion, while the BE and Forsakens do so for the Horde in Quel’thalas.
I disagree with that, trying to taking Hyjal with its defences and Wild Gods which are aligned with the Night Elves in most cases would by nigh-impossible. And Hyjal as a location is easily self-sufficient, at the very least very sufficient to make a siege of the place just unviable as the Night Elves/other forces there could easily hold out for a long period of time.
And the Draenei are to different from the Night Elves just to settle together in the same place. The Draenei should be with their Lightforged counterparts more than the Night Elves.

The same Wild Gods which did nothing when Ashenvale, also a part of the sacred forests, was destroyed ?
They won’t move to help the Night Elves, as long as the Horde is smart enough to not carpet-bomb Hyjal. Furthermore, with azerite-powered weapons, their superior technology compared to the Night Elves and the Blight, Hyjal would be a death trap for the Nelves. Hyjal is far from being an impenetrable fortress, especially after the Cataclysm and the events of Legion.
Plus, the main body of NE civilians is in Stormwind right now, meaning that it’s all but impossible to settle them in Hyjal until the war is ended. At which point the Horde would have no reason to accept Kaldorei in Hyjal if they won or at least stalemated Darkshore.
Hyjal is the most sacred place where most of them have shrines. Such was the case even in the times of Azshara.
And the reason they did not help in Ashenvale is called plot. They help after in Darkshore, you can see dryads, keepers of the groove and other such entities fighting.
I mean, lets get serious, what faction war and assault on the night elves would you expect if Cenarius actually lifted a finger? Goldrin, for instance, already fought against the Horde.
This is just another situation in which Blizzard sacrificed consistency for a forced faction war.

They needed to nerf the alliance because the underdog faction should win this war. That’s why I hate the story of BfA. They doesn’t even try to explain why something doesn’t worked & just avoid it…

They were also there during the WoT.
I still recall this Dryad telling me to not die too fast, she wanted me to Suffer.

You are jumping a few steps, we are talking about a new home, not a Horde invasion of Hyjal. And even then like Araphant has said the Wild Gods wouldn’t stand idle if the Horde pushed into Hyjal doing the same thing they did to Ashenvale and Darkshore.
The main reason they didn’t and won’t help in this current faction war is plot/balance. It is as simple as that. Most neutral factions would have cut ties with the Horde if not be at war with the Horde as well if it wasn’t for gameplay balance.
Hyjal is a deathtrap if any massive force tries to go up and take it.
The only 2 armies what actually tried were the Burning Legion with their infinite cosmos-spanding army and the Twilight Hammer with the Lord of Fire and the full might of the Firelands.
The Horde couldn’t do sh*t if they tried to invade through Ashenvale, Felwood, Winterspring to get to Hyjal, getting harassed along the war whittled down by guerrilla forces before having to fight the Wild Gods.
It is the best location for the Night Elves to be settled now that Teldrassil is gone, and I hope they do.
I also remember Night Elves going “I don’t want to kill you, but I will if you force me!” when the Horde has just murdered there way through Ashenvale and parts of Darkshore sparing nobody. But regardless Cenarius would be helping the Night Elves like he did in the past.
If he got enraged by Orcs cutting down trees in Ashenvale then he would go beserk to see what the Horde has done now to Ashenvale, Darkshore and Teldrassil.

Do you also remember the quest where you have to kill Sentinels. There where a few wounded sentinels which slept… There is no honor in this

Shouldn’t have got injured it seems xddd, for a people what have been around for like 10,000 they should be good enough to fight some hobos with a plant and nail.
You forgot that it wasn’t the main army of the Kaldorei. The horde have fighted against trainees.
They were not all trainees, considering a lot of the forces came from the Darnassain Guard, and don’t even get me started on the BS excuse they came up with to send the main forces of the Night Elves down south on boats while the Hordes main army was on the border to Ashenvale. Urghh it hurts my head xd.

Do you need a hug from a real man? I know that all the male NE are pathetic, just ignore them baby.
Ermmmmmmm, maybe if you wear a Garrosh mask then sure :P.
I look better. Just look at my beautiful long hair.
You look like a discounted Grom from Asda.
