Yeah, playable male Night Elves compared to Illidan really looks pretty sad. But I don’t think that they will change anything for a while. I mean they just now started to update the skins of the cata races.

Because only the Horde is allowed to have attractive good-looking elves, apparently.
In my opinion all Alliance Elfes looks good, except the male NE. Do you have seen Nightborne? Both genders looks kinda horrible.

Yes except first face (currently my character’s face), all male faces look like angry and old.

Apart from new posture, they should also get a few more facial options. That includes new face that isn’t angry, actual beard that doesn’t look funny on them and proper eyebrows.
And well…it would be great to make their waist a bit wider.
Look at Illidan and Malfurion, these two look perfect compared to actual male Night Elves. Illidan doesn’t have that thin waist nor does he have the annoying posture. He looks proud and majestic. I feel all male Night Elves should look like that.
Your post pretty much sums it all up of how I feel the changes should be made. Posture, face and waist.

First thing i would like, is to have beards separated from Brow. Why dont i have brow if i dont have beard? Some sort of accident with a fireball?
Faces could use more option with more young looking males. Othervise im quite happy with them.

Yeah the problem is the posture, narrow waist/pelvis, lack of a posterior and the eyebrows disappearing with the beard.
Additionally thy have softened their look with the character model redesign. They are savage and wild, the cut they have in the Demon Hunter model is more fitting than this new soft look.
They can also do with better hair and beard options. I mean it just seems bad when Orcs have better looking hair…
I’d say the build they have in the Harbingers animated short would be perfect.
The Belf/Velf model is fine but they seemed to have skipped leg day…its sacrilege!

Angry, they look angry, like they drank something foul and bitter. And the tusks, try on any helmet you like and those tusks just stick out the front. The original male trolls have hunchbacks. At least they fixed that with the Zandalari ones, but the tusks, I really don’t like the tusks.
Cuz the Night Elves from WoW and LOTR are different kind/species. If you want gay-ish and feminine looking elves like Legolas, you wont find them in this game. (or change faction and play Blood Elf 
)

the problem isnt the feminine appearance. is that the aspect is ugly.
He could always play a Void Elf if he does not want to change factions.

I don’t see it that way, their faces looks nice enough to me but then again trolls are meant to be half bestial that’s their charm. They meant to look threathening not like Ken doll with stupid smirk on.
Why would you put helmet on troll when they have glorious hairstyles and tusks to show off. They musn’t be covered.
I made exception because I wanted to try this mog but All other of my trolls don’t hide their faces.
And they’re not really hunched back at keast as spinal disfunction it’s primal stance. They can stand upright.
The only change I’d apply would be to lessen the hunch so tabards would be visible and belts wouldn’t clip but keep the stance overall.
And maybe buff the calves as overall jungle trolls are meant to have build of leapers.
And it’s not like we have any ugly male races. Noooooooo 
We have eyebrows’ curse too, but we still look good cause we’re gnomes.
