Why do tauren paladins get hate?

It’s amazing how people on the wow forums know “how many people feel” and yet when it comes to defending their point surprisingly those people are absent

If you play the game and read the forums long enough, you will see. The OP literally made a thread about it.

I never had to make a thread about not getting accepted as paladin as a blood elf. So clearly, there is a problem there that is not solved yet since Cata.

Mostly out of jealousy

That’s vocal minority. Majority was looking forward to this combo. To the point that before Zandalari were released yhis subject was spammed on forums.

OP is actually Tauren Hunter who made it as trolling attempt. He is not serious about it.

I suppose you didn’t pay attention to Sunwell patch and every other Liadrin appearance

Yup. Whilst originally the Blood Elves stole their power, these days they are very much about worshipping the light, thanks to the guidance of the n’aaru and the Draenei.

And I guess you didn’t pay attention to literally any other bloodknight.

Faith is not banned, its simply optional and Liadrin is a former priest, so it makes sense for her. But trying looking up Solanar and others. The Sunwell is a source of pride and magic for blood elven people, and blood knights protect it and the kingdom. The only faith they need is a faith in their own ability and people, not higher powers.

They hate you cuz they aint you, brother.

Paladin takes strength from his/her convictions. As it was shown in Warcraft 3 Reign of chaos Paladins can even do evil if they are convinced that it is right measure to reach their target. Sure its more than that but there is no need to be Human or Dwarve to use such an power. Various groups can “produce” Paladins.
Even if formally only Humans and Dwarves are Paladins it cannot stop other races from developing heavily armoured warriors who support their physicality by powers of the light.

In lore Blood Elven Paladins are called Blood Knights. Probably all races who are not Humans or Dwarves should have different name for their Paladins but if they function so much like Human/Dwarven Paladins they are called by name of their most famous representatives which were Human/Dwarven PALADINS.

Taurn is the HIGHEST sim damage Horde race for Retr!

because they are amooOOoosing

They hate what they can’t become!

I sometimes long for the days when shaman was Horde only and paladin was Alliance only. It made each faction more unique, and made for some epic one-on-one battles in WPVP.

That being said, I am not blind to the balancing issues that entails, and I think Kelban’s explanation earlier in this thread perfectly sums up why taurens are well suited to be paladins/sunwalkers anyway.

I played BF female for 11 years, now i am playing holy-cow for 3 weeks and its pretty sweet to be tauren paladin curently, better survive, bigger dps and aoe stun (without gcd btw) in m+ its insanly good. My guildemate said me ones, oh my god you are no longer pretty and pround what happed to you. So i just answered him… What, i am lovely… Tell me I am prettty now !!! slash cast WARSTOMP… problem solved…
