It does look cheaper. Except in that area. You can tell a lot of materials went in there and none were left for the rest. 
I find the face obnoxious on this version, much more than on the Blizzard’s.
Jaina looks different in almost every piece of promotional art.
I believe that statue is in fact statue of crossdressing Khadgar cosplaying Jaina. It resembles him uncanny.
So you in fact are getting 2 heroes instead of one for the value of 1 statue. Probably same is true about Sylvanas statue but for Nathanos you have to look under Sylvanas heel.

Because they use the basic human rig just slightly modified for in-game purposes?
It may have escaped your attention but that is and always has been the case for EVERY character that has been represented in full CGI and/or physical figurines.
Do we remember Anduin?
Anyway in my recollection we’ve yet to see a proper CGI Jaina. I think you’ll find - like Anduin - she won’t look anything like the in-game version.

I was looking through the US thread about Jaina’s statue and i came across an interesting picture posted there.
Someone edited Jaina’s face to represent more the in-game version and it feels much better to be honest.

What CGI Jaina are you referring to?
To my knowledge she has never been in a fully rendered cinematic.
If you mean in-game cutscenes, then yea she looks different. As do ALL characters in comparison to non-in-game representations. Anduin for instance.
The reason for this is they use the standard race rigs, with some modifications to give them a unique look. In full cinematics and figurines they don’t have that limitation.
Oh geez that statue is terrible.
To be fair if it’s hand crafted so you’re not going to get it that good, but the eyes just dont…
I don’t know, i mean, the rest of it is perfect, the details are outstanding but the face is off.
Sylvanas’ statue was very well done too, you could tell that’s Sylvanas face but with Jaina it’s a whole different story.

If they made her face like in the edited photo, I’d be tempted to buy it. It’s still not 100% “her” but feels much closer.

I would love to see Jaina in an ‘Old Soldier’ CGI movie like cinematic. I think out of all the main expansion characters she is the only one we haven’t seen in one of those types of movie.
