You’re quitting so why do you care?
The only one I actually felt remorse for…
Now I get to ride around on him, so I got the better end of the deal…
You pick the lore like a magpie. Only the things which fit your narrative.
Also:
IF this game would have some focus on faction pride, I as an alliance player’d have had the choice to even help Baine in the first place. Why should I care about the personal problems of some Tauren? In the case of some faction importance I should’ve have had the option to just say:“Good luck but I don’t care about you, bye.” But no I get treated the same as any other player. Get over it, the times when factions mattered in this game are long gone.
It’s not just “some tauren”, it’s baine bloodhoof. He is radiating honor. If some alliance hero met him, he would respect him ofc. How can you not respect such a high tier character regardless of your affiliation? Imagine how unrealistic it would be, if we just walked up to i.e. Jaina Proudmoore and told her “I don’t care about you, human”. That wouldn’t be realistic.

I will not get over it. Not for as long as I am forced to take quests from alliance leaders in the neutral plot. Like Tyrande and Malfurion in the Valdrakken story. They are my enemy so they should be kill on sight.
He sided with the alliance. He has no honor.
Thrall also did though? And thrall has honor. Broxigar also sided with the night elves quickly to get this sword
The entire Horde council is without honor. They rather siege their own city and help the alliance to kill Sylvanas before a single blue soldier gets harmed.
I think you are way too obsessed with the faction war. Sometimes the factions are at war, but that doesn’t mean that individual characters have to behave like faction-fanatic Bots
Can’t be obsessed when I am not playing it anymore.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually enjoyed that questline. Most likely because Baine acted like a real leader and didn’t just forget that he had to arrange with the very people who killed a lot of his kinship. But the thing is that the outcome of this quest has nothing to do with any faction bias and the claim alone is even more ridiculous because you help him as an alliance player to solve a problem. What positive outcome should the alliance have from these events? Forgiveness to some point and a better diplomatic relationship between Tauren and Centaurs doesn’t really benefit the alliance at all.
Are you acting for or representing your whole faction as a player, or are you just your individual character? I haven’t played this quest, but to me it seems optional, because I played through most of the main campaign, and didn’t encounter this quest. So my take is: If you want to be a very loyal alliance warrior, maybe just don’t do the quest?
If Blizzard wants to give us the centaurs they should have done so with those from Kalimdor. Maruuk will become irrelevant once Dragonflight is over.
If I guit , then it will be because I have a problem . I do not remember where the transmop vendor has gone , I can not find you and the helmet I am wearing has the ugliness.
You act as your character but my point is that Erevien always puts any action from a prestigious character to the faction level and its “meaning” for the latter. Because individuality has no meaning for him even when it’s so obvious that you literally can’t miss it.^^
If I take off the helmet, I am going too powerless , no this is not acceptable for me . I do not choose to remove this and it is a reminder .
is a real horde character not a traitor like sylvanas
Any Tauren roleplayer would actually cancel their sub then. Businessmove from the “Wolkenkuckucksheim”.
Also, I think Tauren are in the horde due to “honor-debt” towards the orcs. They are very spiritual and peaceful beings, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t shortly help an alliance character or vice-versa during peace times, when thrall is at power especially. Seems weird to me that this is a problem
exactly story like this characters are going to die no reason to quit over it
