Why Midnight Betrays Subscribers

Blood elves is just high elves renamed? They joined horde. Blizz realized their mistake and made an allied race for alliance so they would not cry.

I could be wrong ofc but I don’t think I am.

So bloody untrue. It was Horde players demanding it as they felt entitled to them. and then they pointed out that that the Dalaran “High elf” blacksmith that joined the blood elves after the dalaran incident in mist of pandaria have always been with the Blood elves. There for they should have blue eyed blood elves (Their words). Then some time later after there was a bug that all High elves got purple eyes and again the Horde players demanded it once High elf fans asked for the purple eyes as Blood elves felt they were entitled. Since Void elves already had Blue and purple eyes. So yes they listened but only to Horde players.

However the Undead elf skin was Blizzard own decision to share among blood elves and Void elves as most were confused why alliance got the undead elf skin as that was a Horde thing.

Only one. The ones that fought along side Humans and dwarves for decades. Our allied friends…the High elves that never left the Alliance and still fight for the Alliance. The High elves Blizzard keeps ignoring of their existence. Yet they are always there and there is enough to make them playable as they are way more than Void elves but that is irrelevant now, if Void elves can be playable that is only 20…sorry 23 people then number for a race to be playable is long gone.

Blizzard still dident have to take an alliance rae and give to the Horde. They could have done the same as they done for Alliance. Create a brand new race, that was pretty, savage and used magic but instead Blizzard knew Alliance wanted High elves as we asked through beta and Vanilla and Horde wanted pretty race so Blizzard used “2 stones” to kill “one bird” and so on. High elves were everywhere in Alliance areas in beta and Vanilla. I know, as I played wow beta as my brother fixed me an invite and have played ever since. And when we asked for High elves back then, Blizzard answer was “There is not enough high elves to make them playable!”. Are you kidding me?? they are everywhere so Blizzard lied even back then. There was High elves in all Alliance areas, the is High elves out in the world that is hostile to every one.

Void elves are not the High elves that fought along side Humans and dwarves (except Alleria) for decades. They are an Unknown group of outcast of Blood elf squad that switch sides. The High elves that joined the Void elves were straggles that didn’t belong to any faction like Silver covenant, Allerian stronghold, 7th legion, Dalaran elves (Yes there still are High elves in Dalaran even if some left after mists of Pandaria) or Highvale elves. These High elves stayed with the Alliance when their king order them back home. They choosed their friends over their home.

High elves stragglers that joined the Void elves did not fight for anything before they joined the void elves. But they also have other Blood elves that switched sides and joined the Void elves as Blood elves have always been attratered to darker powers. Its part of their story up until Sunwell patch. Then it was all about the Light.

The high elves in “Silvermoon” changed their race name to Blood elves. The Alliance High elves never did. They still call themshelves High elves and is proud calling themshelves that, even Blood elves that was exiled from Silvermoon by Lor’themar to stop a civil war after Rommath taught them a technique to siphon mana from living creatures he learned from Illidan (The very same creatures they swore to defend) changed their race name aswell back to “High elves” and have been living in human cities and villages ever since.

That wasn’t the reason they made Void elves. The reason was becuase both sides asked for Nightborne and Blizzard decided to give Nightborne to the Horde (And no I don’t disagree on “That” decision as they make sense in the Horde as Nightborne has no ties to the Alliance and it gave the Horde Dark elves). They made the Void elves in last minute decision. That’s why the Void elves don’t have a real city or enough customizations. There was no time. They knew Alliance player would be pissed when gave Nightborne to the Horde when both sides asked for them. But they also knew Alliance players wanted High elves but couldn’t or wanted to give us that (Not hard to figure out why). Then one woman had an idea, Elves with void powers and that started tinkering their ideas. You can see her NPC in stormwind. But as said there was not enough time before releasing the 4 Allied races at the end of Legion expansion.

What we are asking for are the High elves that has always been loyal to the Alliance, that never left the Alliance and is “still” fighting for the Alliance.

I don’t get why that is so hard to understand for people.

While I do agree that helf A would’ve made a lot more sense then harronir N at this point in the story, I can’t agree with wanting to turn high elves in blue blood elves.

Personally I think it would be better for the high elves to be portrayed as going their own direction, unexiling high elves would take away everything thats cool about them and just turm them into default tolkien fantasy elves.

I love lotr but wow isn’t as black and white as that universe is so yeah. It feels like people who make these demands of blood elf but blue are stuck in warcraft 2

You are a person who truly knows the history of Azeroth :pray:t2:
but it is useless to explain anything to these ignorant and foolish people, they are blind in their ignorance

Were you around in Vanilla? Cause that wasn’t the issue. The issue was a dying faction. By the time the expansion was announced we didn’t even have enough people to get an AB going, the Horde was that deserted. The belfs SAVED the Horde.

This is not what I asked. What it will give you that the current 2 race cannot??

If it quacks like a duck, smells like a duck, even looks like a duck but it’s not called a duck people are freaking out about semantics.

People crying about not getting High Elves are a special kind of people.

Probably the justification to demand Silvermoon be given to the new Alliance elves.

The dogs from the horde with foam at the mouth and insist on their opinion to the very end, which has nothing to do with historical facts

Loooooooooong time sub here. I do not feel betrayed. This AI Copypasta can be ignored.

Indeed it is. They atleast replaced the emdashes with commas to TRY and hide the fact it is AI.

Well we already given suggestion for years. That they be paler than blood elves due to lack of mana. Crystalsong forest as there leylines of arcane there and as angry ghost of Highborne are gone now, moved on to the afterlife. Or the Hinterlands, there even old Highborne ruins there. There is alot of old Highborne ruins around the world that Alliance High elves could retake and make their own.

The Alliance High elves have always had blue eyes (Even had human like eyes as the glow in their eyes started to fade) as they did not seek out a new source of power like the Blood elves in Silvermoon. They siphon mana from magical artifacts to survive. Even Vereesa’s husband Rhonin went on expeditions to find Magical Artifacts to help his wife with the withdrawal effects of mana to ease her suffering.

These Alliance High elves were also the ones that Alleria Windrunner herself recruited to fight the Old Horde in Warcraft 2 when the High elf king refused to engage in the Human war with the Old Horde. Alleria took it upon herself to find likeminded High elves to join the fight with the Humans against the Old Horde. They didn’t abandon their friends, nore should we abandon them.

Yes they could have made a completely new race.
It’s questionable if they would have made a good job since they haven’t really made any really new race except for dracthyr and that was well let’s say they tried.

If the blood elves have reason to join or not join the horde is a incredible long discussion I don’t want to have here right now I just think there are at least reason why they aren’t the biggest human fans.

But it’s still over a decade that this discussion was made.
And it was made by blizzard.

And you can’t blame the blood elve player for then later ask for customisations like blue or purple eyes for the race they got.

I mean I could be wrong but your text kinda sound like you give the horde players the blame for us getting specific customisations and you guys getting void elves

Can you come to this thread :sos:

It has been evident from all your posts that you are completely unfamiliar with the history of Azeroth. Please continue to embarrass yourself further :grimacing:

Oh is that so?

God nooo how can I live knowing that a super rude person from the wow forum thinks I embarrasse myself.

Is it as embarrassing as you still being around after you promised to leave if you don’t get high elves?

Go bark at another tree girlipop cause I don’t care

They never tried as Blood elves was the first choice they picked for the Horde new race.

Even in TBC there were Blood elves questioning the High authority why they didn’t rejoin the Alliance. So not all Blood elves were for joining the Horde.

The humans that treated the High elves/blood elves like crap was lordaeron humans (And Garithos too) that is now “forsaken”. Yes Garithos was from Stormwind but he left becuase he hated the humans there and the king for being goody too shoes with other races when they should be ruling them.

True I where remnants of lordaeron.
I did know garritos was from stormwind but I didn’t knew he left cause the where not racist enough for him.

But does it matter from where those humans came?
Orcs and trolls always get named as the reason why the elves should not be in the horde and I’m sure it was a different tribe of trolls and that there are little to no orcs left that where part of the OG horde that attacked silvermoon

Keep in mind that the game’s development has already gone 2 years or more ahead of the current build, so that’s why we have such a slow response to player feedback/wishes.

Players are making their feedback based on the current build and trailers when the developers have already finished building the plot for Midnight and are polishing the build.

They should add high elves and they also should transfer blood elves and talysra elves to the alliance. So in the future patches they would all reunion into a single elf race.
