People have been asking for playable Vrykuls since WotLK, and we all know that’s impossible simply due to their immense size.
But, it’s been confirmed that the Drust were a Vrykul tribe/clan.
So they could have gone the way of making the “big Kul Tirans” people with Vrykul blood in them.
Basically written into lore that some interbreeding happened between the Drust who settled into Kul Tiran society and the Kul Tirans themselves.
Then they could create a race that would look like a mixture between the baseline Humans and the Vrykul.
I’ve honestly been itching to make a kultiran druid alt, but then i remembered what a bother it is leveling up professions post the expansion split so you cant powerlevel it with WoD mats, and i remember the visions, and the gear treadmill, and the necklace, and the essences… you get the idea.
But in Shadowlands i’m 100% going to make that kultiran real
I personally don’t see a reason to keep “up” with your alts, to be honest with you. I’m close to 40 120 alts (mind you, I had five !!! at the end of legion) and I park them across the world for world bosses, dungeon- and /raid-transmog hunts so I don’t have to travel the whole map around if I want to get into a quick instance. And with the postmaster toy you can easily transfer money around your alts as well!
The KT have a complete transmog kit dedicated to them, like the ZTs. You have a heritage armor and several weapons which suit them perfectly. I can’t say the same to the ZT though, their weapon colorization absolutely don’t match their heritage armor.
Not everything is about racials…
Beside they are generic human - just fat
What a thrill must be to be one and watch from behind, lumbering around in the world
I’m fine with my tentacled boy, thank you
In case you haven’t read it somewhere else yet: “Thin human model” has been datamined as a playable subrace for the Alliance a while ago but we don’t know yet if these are indeed the thin KT-model. Don’t get your hopes up yet.
I don’t care about racials, my hunter used to be Nightborne in Legion wich is racial-wise the worst race for it but I didn’t care and still raided mythic.
I’m alliance atm, but I just simply don’t like the way they look … male is just dad bod, and the famale is like a fat ballerina called Svetlana trying to become famous but she never gets the spotlight because of her weight so she is always a backup dancer. She even went to Britain’s got Talent where she got 4 yeses but she didn’t make it to the live shows tho.
Btw I have nothing against curvy characters I have female panda and dark iron dwarf but whenever I think of female Kul’tiran I just see poor Svetlana.
And that’s what I like about the male design, especially with the full beard option. Most people may disagree with me but the male KT-design with the heritage armor really hits the spot when it comes to the pirate-fantasy as an outlaw rogue.
I will explain:
Reason behind is am completely torn apart between what to play.
On one side I have my vanilla characters: this one, my Orc Warrior and my Forsaken Priest.
On the other side I have my BEs characters that completely took over my rooster: six characters.
I have my Goblin Rogue that matches my three vanilla characters for: Plate, mail, leather and cloth characters.
That was what I had in mind initially, when BFA started.
After learning a bit more about the lore in the story forum I want to play my non BEs races for lore reasons, while wanting to play my BEs for aesthetics reasons.
Also found out recently, I don’t like deleting characters.
I brought my BE DK level 56 that I created years ago, first DK ever created on, my account.
Brought my vanilla Troll Shaman level 58 (she had like an insane amount of hours, even through she was just a low level) and my BE warrior level 66 (120 now).
With that being said, I am now trying to level my BE DK, Tauren Druid (level70) Troll Shaman and a new Forsaken Warlock character, level 1.
I remember back in Legion, helping a Horde player I had just met in LFR, leveling on my server.
Brought this character to help him (she was like level 77) and it was just depressing seeing after a switching to my level 110 BE how much better she was.
I guess, I just grew too attached to each one of them. Too much I would say.
My first Horde Druid was also a Tauren but after I saw the druid-forms for the ZT, I simply race-changed him to a female ZT. While I’m also attached to my characters, I do find it necessary to make sacrifices to some of them for having a better structure. I rather have a male/female character from each race instead five belves, for example. I never realized it before BfA but I actually do like leveling and collecting transmogs to have good RP-characters ready when I’m in the mood to join the rest of AD in their fun. And like youself, I also have a Forsaken Priestess I adore but I consider race changing her for having a male NB priest because I’m not really sold on the Shadow Priest lore. It would make more sense to have a female Forsaken Warlock but that’s just me.
Long story short, just try everything out until you’ll find the perfect race/class mix for you. I never knew I wanted to have a Sunwalker (Tauren Paladin) but given the lore it absolutely suits them with their Heritage Armor. Just keep on experimenting, that’s what the character slots are for. Just don’t try to keep them up with your main, alts are supposed to be these parked cars in a garage you get out for a spin from time to time.
