Not to sound ungrateful for the new Worgen racial, which btw has been such an amazing addition to the game, but regarding the Worgen heritage armor….
Everything about Gilneas is gothic and gloomy, and is clearly based on a old English style. It’s incredible and one of the most amazing places in the game visually.
So why in the world… is the heritage armor so bright, colourful, and “clowny” looking?
You can’t argue that “it’s because it has a royal theme”, because even Glenn, his wife, and his daughter are wearing the more gothic themed colours, which matches Gilneas.
The heritage armor colours are SO opposite of what you would expect…
Many other races have received 3 colour versions of their heritage armor. I’d love to see two more ACTUAL gothic/Gilnean coloured versions added to the game.
I feel like that wouldn’t be a tall order to make the Worgen players happy. No need for quests or anything, just add them in alongside the existing “clown version”.
Because the “Heritage” is nor acually racial representation - most of the cases it would be impossible, since the Humans are made up several nations, you can’t say, man, now THAT is a Human, or Orc, Goblin, the Nightborne… not even the Vulpera; their heritage not represent the vulpirates, seafaring vulpera, the freelancers, traders, the voldunai members etc, just the caravan-tied vulpera.
Similarly, the Worgen armour is a very specific thing; at the end of the questline, you are promoted to a member of the Greyguard, the elite guards of the Greymane family!
You are like the red royal guards of Emperor Palpatine, wearing a distinct armour from the rest of the Empire.
You are special! Like your armour.
In my humble opinion, the Gilnean fashion is the lord walden (and similar) tophat and the Nobleman’s “set” from Darkmoon Island (or Duskhaven set from island expedition, witch is basically the same)
Recolors are fine - sometimes you can make many different combinations due to it. And having multiple colors of Heritage is better than having one. They should add additional colors for all Heritage sets that only have one color.
