Okay, so you’re just here to destroy and obstruct. Embracing the vindictive, eh?
Nevertheless, I’ve always held the position that if people don’t enjoy WoW, then they ought to quit it.
I think any game is better served with having a community that enjoys the game, rather than having a community consisting of a lot of people who don’t enjoy it. A rotten apple spoils the bunch, so to speak.
And I don’t personally see why it’s imperative that WoW maintains a bunch of players who bring nothing but complaints and negativity to the community. I would rather have a small community of like-minded people who enjoy the game than a big community filled with whiners and QQers.
Size may matter to Blizzard’s stockholders, but it is of no importance to me. I’m better off with people who don’t enjoy the game choosing to leave it.
Ya’ll just seem to have a hard time finding the exit. So I’ll gladly nudge you in the direction now and then.
nah blizzard are pretty capable for doing that to themselves…
negative is in all aspects of life… and when times are bad or the subject matter keeps making idiotic mistakes… the negatives shine through above all positive…
hense why these forums consist mostly of negativity.
no one is overly happy with the direction of the game or with blizzard as a company besides loud minority.
i do nothing to spread anything.
EDIT: believe me if i told you if they genuinely did something good i would be one of the first people here singing their praises for it.
That’s quite a defeatist position to take for a human being who is in charge of his own actions.
It’s indulging in one’s own misery. Be that as it may, but it’s hardly an admirable trait. Pitiful and wasteful, mostly.
And in the meantime, waiting for fortune’s favor, you’re just decaying. Standing still.
Hence why I say that if people don’t like the game, then they ought to quit it.
Rather than focusing on what capitalistic and corporate Blizzard Entertainment can do for little you, then YOU ought to focus on what you can do for yourself. Because you can do a lot more than Blizzard can.
It appears so spineless to see people not do anything themselves for themselves, and instead expecting that some far-off entity can serve them happiness on a platter.
call me a lil crazy if you like… or self-destructive which ever shoe fits.
im busy on myself anyway… this whole forum journey i been on is just a passive thing… i pop by to see if any GOOD news comes along… im still waiting it has been a long time since i seen something good announced… for player like me the casual folk…
if i see things i disagree with i make sure to say why that is because all perspectives deserve to be heard or they will never be addressed and fixed for the better of all …
its fine you enjoy the game as it is jito i have no problems with that… but i think for the people who do not and feel like it needs a big change of plan for it to get back on track.
i have dont a lot for myself everyday more than you know well i alot of people know some of the stuff i have done as i openly said as much in various threads in my time here.
but this is not about me… its about the game and its about blizzard and how everything they need to know gets said right here on this forum week after week hundreds of times…
but nothing is ever done to show they listen.
great okay we got a new void elf hair colour which was great for the people who wanted it but that is a tiny spec in the universe of things which actually get talked about here.
im a pretty patient guy tbh… hense why im still here… if i wasent i would of left a long time ago for good… im interested in where they plan to go now cause they are back against the wall right now… only way out of this situation is through the many people blocking their way.
Again, my point is just that it’s better to focus on what you can do yourself, rather than focusing on what Blizzard might hopefully do eventually at some point in the future if lucky.
I’ll speak for myself and say that I don’t think WoW provides infinite fun right now, because it’s been the same content for a long time.
But rather than sitting here and complaining endlessly about Blizzard, then I just choose to not play the game as much as I used to.
I log in once a week, usually Saturday, and do all the activities that I think are fun and enjoyable, and then that’s it. The other days I do the Mission Table and perhaps the callings if I feel like it. But other than that, then I don’t really play the game right now. I only play it to the point where the fun stops. And if it someday turns out that the game isn’t fun at all, then I’ll quit it entirely until I feel like playing it again. I’ve done that in the past.
And time away from WoW is not time wasted. It’s time that can be spent exploring other games. I’m having a lot of fun playing Hades right now – an absolute gem of a game – and my time is currently better spent sinking a lot of hours into Hades than WoW.
And likewise I don’t spend a lot of time on the WoW forums these days either, because if the game interest isn’t there, then the forum interest really isn’t either – unless you want to indulge in misery and let loose all the criticism and complaints. But what good do I get out of that?
Anyway, it just strikes me as if people like you haven’t really thought your plan through very well. Like I said earlier, then if the goal is to enjoy oneself and have fun, then you don’t seem very close to that goal.
Quit WoW. Give Hades a try (or some other game). That’s more immediate action toward fun and enjoyment than sitting around here, aimlessly waiting for Blizzard to serve it for you.
ur effectively no different to me then in reality…
u tend to not play that much anymore but are still here as well…
i wonder why u think my being here is unjust and yours is ?
its better me letting my stress go towards blizzard who actually deserve it tbh…
rather than towards something or someone who doesn’t.
i dont really play anything these days, i play project zomboid with my brother… but hes just decided to quit smoking after years and is having a pretty hard time atm because of withdraws… so that is off the table for now.
but yea my being here is no different to anyone else’s if i play or not… and your concern over wanting me to quit because it would make your life better as far as i can tell. is just not happening.
seems a bit like pot kettle black to call for me to quit when u will stay active personally.
My game’s fine…you got burnt out ?..then play something else for a bit… maybe one of those ‘WoW killers’, that didn’t… or the next one…or maybe the one after that.
Throwing all your toys out of the pram because the Devs are not doing exactly as you tell them, every time you break wind…just comes across as spite driven, entitlement issues.
My point is that I indulge in WoW for as long as it is fun and no more than that. Same with the forums. Once there’s no more enjoyment to have, then I spend my time elsewhere. And then I come back when I feel like it’s fun again.
I find that to be a very healthy approach to WoW. It’s served me well for 17+ years.
How’s your approach serving you?
I’m not saying you being here is unjust. I’m saying it’s stupid. I think that was my initial response in this thread, yeah? A bunch of incessant whining with little reason or reality.
Try to meditate. Way better than QQing on forums.
I fail to see how that’s the case.
My personal pet peeve with you and similar people is that you’re just pissing in the soup, so to speak. Like in this thread, your input is just gloom and doom and misery. And that doesn’t really enrich my WoW experience, be it game or forum or otherwise. Like a mosquito in the room it’s annoying to constantly be confronted with this background noise of incessant whining and complaining in a medium that really exists for the sake of fostering fun and enjoyment. You’re spoiling that, and I don’t appreciate it. So I do the occasional lecturing on why it amounts to idiotic behavior to do all this QQing. Some day, maybe, enlightenment will strike and you’ll quit and find enjoyment elsewhere and I’ll have one less mosquito in the room to contend with.
