Why on Thursday in the evening? Change the date and release it this weekend. It can’t come soon enough.
This weekend is welcome back weekend and then I suppose thursday is a global release after patches for both NA and US. Probably be bugged and/or over populated until that weekend anyway.
Maybe I have missed something, but which exactly races and classes will be available in this event? Cataclysm + Pandarens + Monks as in classic MoP or more?
All of them afaik.

It will use Retail class/race combos and Retail class design. 
This means you can play an Evoker as well, but the 1 per realm restriction is still in place as far as I know.

To add on, you can always make another evoker on another server but atm it seems to be a little odd in that some people can make one without a level 50 and some require it. Worth looking if you can or not before deleting anything or speedrunning a character to 50 before thursday.
It was the special rule, the made for Evokers when DF launched. You need to have a level 50 in the same realm to be able to create an Evoker except for the first evoker of your account.
This exception only works for the first evoker. The optimal way to use this rules in your favor is to create your first evoker in a realm in wich you have any level 50+ character. If you made your first evoker in the same realm as your others characters you can’t create a free level 68 evoker in other realms.
Except it doesn’t work like that now because a family member, who has a lvl 70 evoker, can make another one on another realm with no level 50s. Someone on the forums still couldn’t.
Sooo. Today is May 16th. I am looking at the hour and I see 12pm. Still no Remix at all.
It launches in the evening, I believe.

I’ll keep playing retail, and not because I’m a simp or smth but because all of this is giving me anxiety and discomfort 
SoD, Classic, Hardcore, Retail, Cata, Mists Remix… too much… too much!
I don’t even play them but it’s enough to look at my pc and not wanting to turn it on.

They might as well give us Modding tools like Fortnite so we could create our own versions of the game.

I kind of get that. There is too much going on atm. I am trying to bail on my Cata Classic commitment atm. So that I don’t have too much going on at once. I’m really hoping they can recruit to replace me fast so I don’t even have to level.
I don’t play any other Classic fortunately. I didn’t even reach the cap in the first season of SoD. It’s just not my thing.
The collector in me will do Remix, and I’m not really fussed about any of the extra ability stuff they are adding. I just want to go and get my collectibles. I’m hoping it’s nice and casual and chill and not hardcore in any way.

you know what would be cool? to have Dragonflight UI for this so I don´t have to get stupid addons to change my action bars to the way I want.
Sure they will, I know a lot of people talking about doing just that.

Will the completed Pandaria area quests and achievements etc. carry over to retail when the event ends?
