Apologies for the lack of communication on this one, as we unfortunately do not have night-time coverage here.
Rest assured our server teams work around the clock though, and whenever this happens please know that work to address it will be underway immediately, even if we are not around to communicate it.
I can definitely understand the frustration of major issues going unacknowledged though and we will continue to work on improvements to make sure we can always get breaking news notifications and similar in place, regardless of the hour.
