I’ve played this game for years and for everyone on this thread complaining about Blizzard not acknowledging this problem for several hours now let me assure you, Blizzard have been like this for the last 10 years. They never address these sort of issues ASAP.

I’m on Argent Dawn and the realm has been unplayable for almost 5 hours now. It shows as ‘up’ on the Realm Status page, but in reality we’re all stuck at ‘Retrieving Character List’ and can’t get in. Is there any update on this?

I have the same issue here, character in Ringing Deeps open world area, cannot log in, upon reaching about 90% of load screen, i get sent back to character selection screen with message World Server is Down. EU Silvermoon Realm

You absolutely can, depending on Realm.
I can load the whole Characterlist on Silvermoon, but since all my Characters are in Dornogal, the login breaks with “Worldservers are down”.
Because everyone knows how to do another person’s job apparently.
I’m just glad my account isn’t being hacked I can wait a day or two 
Seems like Hallowfall zone is not loading and logs you out. Then you get “World server down” message in some cases.
Frostmane also down…

Seems the World Server is down. Some are reporting that they are coming back up slowly though. I’m on Argent DawnEU and TuralyonEU, but they are still down.
So, anyone with social media contacted them where they actually read stuff?
Yes yes, everybody has this problem. Just wait. And hopefully they fix it any time soon! Enjoy the outdoors in the time waiting.
I just want to hear out from their end what’s wrong. This level of not informing players is very frustrating.

I also get “World Server is Down.” message for my Shaman. Needs to be fixed soon imo.
