Your argument would be valid if this weren’t a game that you have to pay a monthly subscription for. It’s true that we’re all humans and mistakes happen, which is fine, but in that case, the BARE MINIMUM is acknowledging the issue. If you don’t care personally- great, but that doesn’t make this any less unacceptable. The issue is not that the game is down, the issue is how they are handling it, or rather, the lack thereof.

I used to like the costumer service back in the days (15+ years ago lol). today its just a mess and it feels like it isnt a live-service game anymore. things can happen but is it to much to ask for some information? its been hours since it happened …

Restarting doesnt change anything for me! It loads very slow, and when i can finally try to log in with my toons it says “character not found” after a rather long load… On Spineshatter EU Server that is

all servers locked and no characters showing, servers might have gone down or been hacked/ddos’d?

Hadn’t even heard of that until now, so guess Im starting a toon there since there’s no news here and FFXIV has a maintenance coming soon.
Not a fulltime char, just to check it out, so when it eventually goes down it doesn’t bother me.

ye sorry. the character that was default (for some reasons i guess) was not loaded. sorry for getting your hopes up that there is an actual blizzard reply 
Same and for some characters I also get “World Server Down” when logging in.

“Server unavailable” after waiting for several minutes in a stuck loading window.
I can enter with another character who is in Taldrasus. I can’t enter with any of the characters in the TWW locations.
