And worst part is - that minuscule joke patch broke my UI more than some patches like 8.3 ever did.

No it doesnt, at least not for me and the many people a GM has told me. Its literally broken until a fix comes up.

I have no problem with LFR, i dont do them because LFR is horrible, but no problem
Or you could actually grow some balls and do some extra bosses in the vision before Thrall. Also we are getting rewards they just aren’t guaranteed like people thought.
Also a 12 Boss raid, new M+ affix and several invasions of which we have only seen 2 of.
A friend of mine had a similar issue and can’t get to that stage. Mine is a big source of gaming spam on my twitter 
Hopefully they will uncover a way to fix it in the future for those having issues.

I feel bad for the guy that made the selfie-cam.
If I remember it was a side project of one guy who came in on the weekends to make it just for fun.
Now it is forever linked with the worst patch in WoW history.

Totally agree.
Another set of daily quests, 95% of which involve killing various numbers of mobs/elites/‘rares’ with rewards that never drop.
New adjectives elude me but boring, repetitive, grinding, obvious, crap immediately spring to mind.
Just a really, really poor attempt to keep things ticking until the next XP when all our current efforts will be expunged.
8.3 is next to 8.2 and 8.1 the worst patch in gaming history of wow
Yep. The new darkmoon faire games alone make this patch better than the selfie patch.

Yet this was heavily requested in 8.0 and 8.1 when you had a few quests every week, or 8.2 when you needed certain levels of rep to do the story.
Yeah, the wow playerbase won’t ever be satisfied. Juts like how it is currently complaining about recycled content after crying for years that Blizzard didn’t use the old world…
Imo that’s part of the experience (learning how far you can go, try to improve ect). You get your tutorial with the first free runs you receive from the questline.
What did legion 7.3 offer you as gameplay beside m+ and the raid tho ? Argus wq, invasion portals and… Mage tower on alt I guess ? Dunno if the 7.2 content should be added to the mix tbh but I’ll take it.
If you forget the page tower which is probably the best piece of content they ever released I don’t quite see how 8.3 falls short, especially when you compare the invasion points with the Horrific visions. And yet 7.3 lasted for a year iirc.
Essences ? If anything it takes too long to acquire but it definitely is a long term goal
Would love to know which % of the playerbase used to seriously raid or PvP back in legion. Because if that was the main reason everyone but those folks should be satisfied right ?
That’s an intended oversimplification, just want to say that sets aren’t really that big of an issue. It reduces the motivation to raid, sure but raids were still one of the best thing in BFA.
