Forget it for 2024 it is impossible. There are 3 major new WoW releases in 2024 (SoD, Cataclysm and War Within). I seriously doubt blizzard have the ressource to put together wolk realms they didn’t planned and budget for.
Maybe the problem is that the design of Wrath is shoddy. The reason the Cataclysm dungeons were nerfed was because people who were used to the ez-mode of Wrath couldn’t handle Cata. You couldn’t just mindlessly zerg through a dungeon, you had to pay attention and use crowd control and listen to the tank.
It speaks volumes when even the developers come out and say that their content was a “zergfest”. Yet still, rather than waiting for these players to adapt Blizzard decided to sink the content to their level.
There’s a clear distinction in dungeon quality in Vanilla and TBC compared to Wrath. The RDF wasn’t the cause, but it certainly facilitated the toxic behaviours we saw in Wrath. It likely exacerbated them as well.
Not without reason were Wrathbabies called such.
In Wrath Dungeons easy, world medium. In Cata world a steamroll, dungeons hard. For those focus endgame, Cata good, for those (me) like levelling, Cata is bad like a straightjacket with forced talents, streamlining, … too easy leveling.
So please give us Wrath and TBC Era servers. I want only people to play as they like.
For sure. It was one of the biggest flaws of Cata, I think. The world should act as a tutorial and should teach the player the basics of the game. By having the levelling content be too easy, new players are not at all prepared for the end game. Vanilla didn’t have this problem.
Nobody want to stay on wotlk like nobody wanted to stay on tbc when wotlk was released. We’ve had almost 1 year of icc and everyone is fed up.
As for the “it’s not classic” cata is 100x closer to wotlk than wotlk is closer to vanilla. Cata is litterally wotlk v2, the only difference being old world revamp (which in reality was a lot of work and is successful)
