No interest playing another MMO, even if it’s Warcraft, from scratch. If it weren’t for my current collection with WoW I’d have stopped playing a long time ago… and I just don’t have the drive to have the time commitment to play another MMO.
I’ll make the exception should deep dive tech ever becomes a reality.
I think they should just do what RuneScape has done and make a survival game spinoff with all the WoW lore, and the areas to explore including raids and dungeons.
Not what I meant, but I’d be happy with simply next-gen wow too in the future in 2030 or something Wouldn’t even have to be fresh start
Tbf we are going in this direction with combat addons getting redundant. Then maybe Gameplay gets its next-gen iteration too, and at the end maybe next-gen graphics as well
A wow 2 is unlikely to happen: because WoW 1 is doing fine and adong WoW 2 as competetion woud be bad, also they wont do it as spinn iff after the disaster with overwatch 2 they wont risk another one.
Also mmorp are a big financial risk and and no guarantee for success, new world flopped and is barely alive and needed a rebrand to stay online.
Asli wahy if with everything we achieved, collected ect, is that gone with a destroyed azweoth /wow2, of yes, then it would be dead from the start because you woud kick agibst so many legs and the outrage woud be massive.
Also the mentalität of 2004, when mmorp were completely new to the Internet/words is gone.
Look at wow classic when they said, it woud be the old times, i stead we had min maxing and toxicity as in retail.
The irony is that we had quest helper already in classic and were a thing because some queste are very vague in the descriptions but the classic fanboy wont head that.
Or addons like AtlasLoot whre you had the loot table of the dungon bosses
