The mibge-t was asking why I was in general, ( lol! What a guy!) and I explained him based on the thread. If he really wanted to know that answer, he might as well ask 100’s of those in this thread as well…
As to why I am hear on this thread, is to make blizz hear my plea ( in a unsatisfied manner with a pinch of scarcasm) and a 100’s of those that aren’t happy… We need WoW remaster the current game is old. if wow wants to survive another decade, it needs to an overhaul to be competitve in the market. That’s all. So,I support OP.
And now to answer the Mibge-t question, I play wow because I have subs that will run dry on Jan and I don’t support the current wow. I am on the forums because I like the community ( some I don’t like the Mibge-t) and I know that blizzard can do better but they choose not to due greed…
that is if you even can manage to level up to max, lol, heck tried it got stuck on ifrit for 2 hours, none wanted to help, none in que lol, gave up never again, oh and when I asked if anyone wanted to help me whit ifrit, I got an answers just que up and wait noob, yes they used the ancient word noob lol, that is what I got out from FF lol.
Eso again like lol, game looks nice and all, but atleast when I played it you got forced to do pvp like lol what, got bored realy fast. GW 2 again got potential, but nah not for me eighter.
ESO has the best fantasy world for me,but the problem is quests get kinda boring,and as someone mentioned the quest givers tell you there life story,every single one of them.Combat with sub par server also doesnt spell good.It’s going the way SwTor did sadly.
Gw2 for me falls in the same basket as Monster Hunter World…really good mmorpg that you can play on the sidelines,no pressure.(sub free)
Isn’t WoW numbers wise still the largest? Calling it the worst while it’s played the most is least to say interesting.
I’ve played numerous MMO’s but all of them just ended up in very boring and repeatable content that got cleared very fast. WoW has always new things to do for me.
Thank god dude, with wow being as old as it is and so content filled, not abandoning old content would make it so there would be waaaay too much.
Not entirely true, you have pet battles, mount farming and tmog farming, but with 95% of the playerbase being mainly interested it fightning it is easy to see why it’s the focus.

Leveling has gotten a bit out of hand, but is getting a major change soon. With that being said it is definitely safe learning, there is character development and there is lore you learn when leveling, but you won’t get all of it, and thank god for you not being forced to do that.
Not at all, but even comparing to any other MMO i have played, they are also 90% fetch or run 2 zones over to talk to someone, i would say wow is better in this aspect than that.
Not core gameplay, but takes gearing mechanics from other games, and it did not work out, so they scrapped the bad part and are reworking it.
That is true i guess.
Wow has more communication with it’s player base than most other big MMO’s, but admittedly it doesn’t always feel like they are listening.
That point is surprising though since low level dungeons and trials are usually active due to the daily roulettes.

You really seem to think that graphics make or break a game (At least talking about WoW). Odd that you say that the graphics are “Pixelated”, and yet I am now rubbing up against every wall and character and I don’t see any pixels (Outside of old weapon/armor models that don’t look quite that fancy).
Well, here’s the thing; Graphics don’t make games better.
Warcraft 3 Reforged* And funny that you say that it is a real “Game”, and yet I feel disappointed when I see the videos of the new models. They don’t fit with the rest of the game if you ask me. As if they belong to a different game.
All I wanted out of Warcraft 3 Reforged were more polished graphics rather than models that look like they belong in a different game. So I’m not getting the game, which is a shame… Oh well, I still have the far superior original version.
I have stopped writing, because I don’t have health to read posts of players in denial, and stockholm syndrome’s victims that defend game that doesn’t deserve a defend.
As others have said I like the combat, graphics, but that’s where it ends. Retail devs are clueless about what they’re doing. They’re just milking the last batch of fanboys dry
I say that from this two pictures, first is worst. Is more less detailed, it’has simple composition, has problems with geometry and lighting.
Meanwhile you (and big part of other people here) are saying, that first picture is not worse, because you like it.
I don’t care if you like WoW or not. If you compare WoW to other current AAA MMORPGS, it is obviously worse. Story is on level of 7-years old boy’s fanfiction. Mechanics are cloned from Diablo 3. Storytelling by fetchquests. Leveling don’t fulfill it’s purpose. Classess are shallow. “Skinner box” based End-game. No activities besides a fighting. Developers that don’t listen anyone but themself and investors. It’s just for start. I don’t want to elaborate about raids and other instance based content.
If you are thinking that WoW is not the worst because you like it, you can just “high-five” people that thinks that Earth is flat, and Vaccine cause autism because “they feel that way”.

The picture analogy is flawed, because a picture isn’t judged on worth from how technically composed it is alone. Otherwise abstract art wouldn’t be a thing.
So whilst you can without doubt say picture a is technically more amateurish, that doesn’t mean it is objectively worse. Art is a subjective medium. Chess is a technically a basic game in terms of atheistic and material design, does it follow it is considered as one of the lowest examples of gaming? Not really.
As you can see I don’t compare two genre of paintings. I compare two paintings from the same genre, so they can be compared. Problem is only in one thing. As I can put two images next to each other, I can’t do the same with games.
I can write essays about differences in each of current MMORPGS and why in comparing, WoW hits the ground. But it’s just my words and not gameplay. So as long as you don’t play other games, you will not understand what I’m talking about.
I have played other AAA MMORPGS and I prefer WoW over them.
What is so hard to understand about that? Again it is a difference in preference some people are going to prefer picture 1 over picture 2 even if picture 2 has higher detailing to it. Personally I prefer the artwork of Klimt over that of Monet, you could argue that Monet has the greater detail in his work but it just doesn’t sing to my heart the same way as a Klimt does.
And bringing in flat earthers and anti-vaxx is completely illogical.

You’re right, I don’t get your point. Please feel free to go and play the other games which you think are better than WoW, I am not going to try and stop you.
Personally, I prefer the gameplay etc in WoW to those other MMORPGs so I will continue to play WoW.
