WoW Hotfixes - Updated 23 January

Reading the WoW subreddit last night. Sounds like they were having a blast with that boss last night.

Glad they were quick to fix that one.

No fix to the “Fields of Ferocity Redux” World Quest? It’s been broken for 6 weeks now…

Also, fix the issue with the NEW TOPIC button on the Forum page… it hardly ever appears, unless you’ve logged in and out 7 times, restarted your browser 7 times, refreshed the page a dozen times, changed you character 20 times, logged in with Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari all at the same TIME! and then JUST maybe, you can access the forums…

Classes

  • Warlock
    • Fixed an issue where Grimoire of Synergy would not function while Grimoire of Sacrifice was active.

Dungeons and Raids

  • The Nokhud Offensive
    • The Raging Tempest
      • Surge of Power can no longer be removed with player immunities.
  • Mythic+
    • Azure Vault
      • Leymor
        • Explosive Affix - Volatile Saplings no longer spawn Explosive Orbs.

Professions

  • We have re-enabled the ability to skip some profession tutorial quests.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

  • Auction House
    • Added options to sort by Buyout Price and by Unit Price. These can be selected via a gear icon button to the right of the search sorting headers.
    • Now, when you select an item to purchase, the total buyout price is displayed next to the Buyout button.
    • Searching an item name in quotes will now perform an exact match search for that item name.
    • Shift-clicking an item with the Auction House open will now paste the name of that item in quotes to the Auction House.
  • Creatures and NPCs
    • Class trainers were inadvertently forgetting to charge money for the dual talent specialization, profession respecialization, and other paid options. While we investigate the cause of their inadequate accounting practices, we’ve asked them to stop selling the dual talent specialization ability. Anyone who has already purchased dual talent specialization will be allowed to keep it, and we’ll re-enable it once we’ve fixed the issue. The profession specialization services will continue to be offered, but may spontaneously start charging their intended fee.
  • Dungeons and Raids
    • Defense Protocol Alpha
      • Bounty Satchels from Heroic Daily Dungeons, with Defense Protocol Alpha active, are no longer tradeable to party members.
      • The Frostbite effect from Heroic Utgarde Keep and Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle, while Defense Protocol Alpha is active, now appears as a debuff and cannot be cancelled via the UI.
      • The Bounty Satchel from the Heroic Daily Dungeon, when Defense Protocol Alpha is active, is now multidrop. This was an accidental oversight and was always intended to be multidrop. This means all members of the party can loot the item and receive 3 bonus Emblems of Conquest.
    • Obsidian Sanctum
      • Sartharion
        • Now drops an additional item when 2 or 3 drakes are alive, similar to 3.4.0.
        • 10-Player now drops Reins of the Black Drake (instead of Reins of the Twilight Drake) when 3 drakes are alive.

How about Fixing Preservation Evokers Mastery having absolutely no effect

    • When zoning into Stratholme from the exterior world, players now have access to all of the dungeon’s bosses instead of the two-wing Looking For Dungeon counterparts.

Gurgthock bugged for the millionth time, you need to be there for a specific 10 minutes where it works otherwise its just a waste of area and quests

When will you finally fix Bonemaw’s hitbox? It’s still buggy.

      • Fixed an issue allowing players to line of sight Mana Bombs and Arcane Fissure.
  • Mythic+
    • Affixes
      • Thundering
        • Mark of Wind now prefers tank specialized players.
          • Developers’ note: We’ve heard the feedback from players that safely removing their mark on tank players can be overly dangerous in many situations. Tank players will still have the option of being involved in removing Marks of Lightning, but we believe this change will offer players increased flexibility in terms of how they choose to approach the affix.
    • Halls of Valor
      • Olmyr’s and Solsten’s health reduced by 25%.
      • Valarjar Aspirant health reduced 20%.
      • Valarjar Marksman health reduced by 10%.
      • Valajar Purifier health reduced by 20%.
      • The health of the four kings found in Odyn’s throne room has been reduced by 20%.
      • Valajar Champion’s no longer use Enraged Regeneration.
      • Ebonclaw Worg no longer use Ferocious Bite.
      • God-King Skovald
        • Is now less verbose when stating his claim to the Aegis of Aggramar.
      • Hyrja
        • Health reduced by 10%.
      • Fenryr
        • Health reduced by 10%.
        • Ravenous Leap bleed effect now has a 30 second duration (Was infinite).
      • Odyn
        • The periodic damage on Runic Brand has been reduced by 20%.
    • The Nokhud Offensive
      • Balakar Khan
        • Nokhud Stormcaster health reduced by 20%.
        • Balakar Khan’s Static Spear prefers not to target the same player for subsequent casts.
        • Balakar Khan’s Static Spear area of effect damage reduced by 30%.
      • Teera and Maruuk
        • Ancestral Bond is now applied when Teera and Maruuk are 15 yards apart. (was 10 yards).
    • Vault of the Incarnates
      • Broodkeeper Diurna
        • Reduced the base damage on Stoneslam Detonation by 63%. This will reduce the need to bring only tank-specialization classes that can avoid the effect by being immune to it.

Items and Rewards

  • Fixed an issue with Darkmoon Deck: Dance where the cast was bouncing more or less than intended for certain cards.
  • Fixed an issue with Darkmoon Decks where players would sometimes not be granted a Card after the cooldown had completed.
  • Fixed an issue where, if a player lost their Spiteful Storm Aura, all players also using the trinket on the same target would lose their auras as well.

You should fix second boss in noukd if you are gonna nerf the … out of other instances and nerf evoker healing.
I dont understand why it have taken so long too fix those instances, if you are hardcore and plays resto druid or evoker. I guesd they are ok

Halls of Valor nerfs, really? It is one of the easier dungeons in this rotation, FAR easier than Ruby Life Pools or that Hogwarts Academy dungeon.
