reason why participation is low is because seasons are super long and the rewards u get are easier in the last month than now, thats it
Either fix the mmr/rework the system or do something, or do short seasons (12~ weeks) so people have a reason to grind, ppl want rewards not play for play in 2024
I think before we can detest that Solo content hurts the game we should have the game in a version where it doesnt have absurd amonut of CDs, Buffs, Debuffs, Pets along with a few other machanics. Do you guys agree ?
Cause for once tracking buffs and debuffs has gotten so out of hand that my target frame reaches to the middle of my screen at this point.
Another thing is absurd mechanics and cds that you need to track.
Immunities. Like you punish some classes by adding Dampening in arenas yet give out the majority of the classes immunities that are not affected by it.
How does this make any sense ?
Theres a reason why Wotlk was so good.
It still had its issues like Sacret Shield, warriors, hybrid paladins, dks spaming chains, among other things but the game was:

still challenging but comprehensive.
Visual ques improved but at the same time declined.
Theres na totem- good, you see it. There isnt a whole jungle of pets above it.

They just needed to add solo q into normal 2-2 and 3-3 arena pools

Thatâs exactly what Im talking about. 3v3 is horrible format where you need to coordinate your actions with people in discord and as a result queue only when your team is online, and also you all need to play certain specs.
For example my friends was playing only dps classes, and I cant even play 3v3 with them because of thatâŚ
You can easily go keys with your friends or single any time with couple of random players, thatâs why they are popular. But when it comes to pvp you need 2 certain players to be online and one of them must play healer. What a nonsense.
This is not how modern pvp should look like at all.

call me stubborn, but arena is just bad, and its almost always been bad, and it caused alot of balance issue in other pvp aspects that oare often overlooked because âi need the bigger number to flexâ instead of âhey this is a videogame i want to have fun, yes i want to win, but i also want to have fun playingâ
I have achieved 3 times elite in 2v2. What did I get ? 3x Feats of Strength achievement. After 3th elite , I have decided not to push beyond 2.1k. Iâm currently trying to get rbg titles through rated blitz but queue times are long, games are coin flip. When Iâm done with titles from rbg, Iâm done with pvp as well unless they bring better rewards than a feats of strength achievement. PvP is a time sink for almost nothing atm.

You are right I much rather play a format where I just mindlessly spam dps rotation on a DBM pull and cross my fingers for the best. My favorite SS moment is when someone dies on the enemy team that I havenât target for the whole round. That is my bad tho I havenât read our focus target on the DBM pull. My second favorite SS moment is when the round just ends and I have to investigate what happened and who died first like a true detective.
Itâs just great times with much skill involved.
But unfortunately the game design just leans towards PvE, Mythic+ (shuffle) to the point it is very hard to impact the game in any other way than damage.
Every button just AoEs, stacking for 3 seconds means an instant loss etc.
Sucks.
3v3 without voice is almost a solo shuffle with only difference that you can have less toxic environment.
Thatâs why Im saying, remove healers from pvp, because pvp with healers are button smashing where no one dies. 1v1s and 2v2s without healers could be way more strategic and less forgiving to misatakes .

The only difference is that in rated 3s they would be 500 rating lower. And in bgb 1500 rating higher. lol
Every pvp game always filled with meta slaves, and not a single game has great balance (maybe only some FPS), wow is definetely not worst game in terms of balance. Not the best too, tho.
By âcertain specsâ in 3v3 i meant that one of you must be playing healer.
The âno healerâ arena concept is probably the most fried one lately and I cba to elaborate.

No healer and no tanks. Ok maybe something is âfriedâ to you, but soon pvp will be dead in wow, people dont want to play your arena.
And not even a perfect healer balance gonna fix 5% of the community participation in this clown fiesta with button smashing.
And your solution is to remove healers from arena and make yet another 1v1 bracket I very often wonder how much IQ the average forum enjoyer has. The same people who spammed #soloqueue for years are now spamming #removehealers. We need more dead brackets, not enough of them at the moment.
Whatâs your master plan on how to do that? Let me remind you that prot Paladin lobbies last around 10-15 seconds per round through multiple immunities. Are we gonna have a 5 second rounds? You are essentially suggesting something, that is even more braindead than Shuffle and I didnât even know that is possible.
Explain me please, how is 1v1 gonna work I beg you.
How do you plan on killing a mage with 2 blocks (back to full hp), wall, alter time and never ending mobility while an Arms Warrior dies through parry before his frost nova breaks? Do you just leave whenever you get a counter matchup?
Donât you see yet, that the healer role needs to exist to give you a chance to win what otherwise would be impossible.
Iâll say it one last time, PvP is dead because the gameplay and class design is absolutely trash, no skill and boring. Also because you have 10 different brackets to choose from.
