This happened to me before and a GM suggestion fixed it.
"Hey Baltic,
Try deleting the Battle.net Cache and Battle.net Files and start World of Warcraft once more afterwards. It might check for an update again, but let it do it’s thing and start up the game. Once started up, close the game (make sure to do so the normal way, open the game menu and exit game), and see if it checks for an update again."
