Yeah, the music really took a hit in Shadowlands. It’s not that the individual pieces are bad. There are some nice pieces. But the music really doesn’t fit the environment, is too needy, and doesn’t serve the mood.
The soundtrack for Bastion could be the first draft of a modern Requiem Mass, which is both inappropriate for the zone and a downer in the only space in Shadowlands that has some light.
