My attitude to boosting is simple.
Don’t blame the booster. Blame the idiots who use them.
Pretended to not know any different.
I know many didn’t know but hmm, some did and tried to save their own accounts by speaking out and feigning knowledge.
I have to say this guys, if you’re a small group of like 1-10 boosting people to get your subs, expansions, skins in HOTS and mounts/pets etc and whatever you need in wow then do it. We like this. Its creative. If youre so good at your class and perfected your rotations and work together or solo and can benefit other legitimate players, please continue.
Big groups who mass recruit new players to amass as much gold as possible to sell off for cash in real, you are killing our game.
They dont recruit. You apply. At least the non shady communities.
And the customers say if your chosen “profession” (legacy, m+, raids, etc) has enough attractivity as those runs are first come first serve anyway. And if you have 1000 boosters for 5 m+ runs (example) then well, you will end up with 980 boosters that cant boost.
Yes they do recruit. Saw it myself on Draenor-Eu. Blatant recruit post on trade chat which went roughly like:
“Want to earn as you play? Is Wow your passion? Want to join a large community of likeminded players who will support you? Contact us on **********”
This was from one of the BIG groups, haven’t seen this message for about 4 days now I’m guessing that player got reported or their higher ups put an end to it because it’s a bit too inflamatory.

Wait what. New players won’t be part of any boosting community, you need to apply to join them and they all have high requirements (gladiator for pvp, cutting edge for raids and high rio score for m+)
You are talking without knowing anything and just making accusations. If they were selling for real money, blizzard would have already banned them. Get over it, you’re wrong.
I wont say here because it will advertise further for them. If you’re present in tradechat you’ll know which of the TWO major groups I’m referring to.
Well in the end: Yeah you can go there. Whether you get into it or not is totally dependent on our own skill however. Like a 1.4k RIO player wont get a M+ boosting spot for instance. You will be declined. At best they are recruiting advertisers (since that doesnt require any sort of gameplay skill).
Yeah not new players, bad wording of mine I meant mass recruit new boosters. I TALK WITH KNOWLEDGE. I’m not just baselessly accusing I KNOW and have reported and trust me when I say when this all comes to light these groups will flounder.
Boosting was fine on that time , now like multiboxers they’re time past .They undermine core mechanics of game like achievement , and spam practice is just simple wrong.Both of cases break tos via disturbing game mechanics and spam
