Yeah, and why not even make this most lore-cringy pairing an exception, considering they’re pretty much just a retexture of draenei? Who that can make a draenei warlock would cry over not being able to make a lightforged draenei warlock?
And I’m saying that as someone who never understood why gnome hunters are supposed to not make sense. (I think it was just fun mockery critique.)
Oh well… considering we have priests that can turn on a dime between holy and shadow and have some overlap of those crassly different fields, I guess everything goes now.

One day they’ll do the same for Shaman or at least expand the roster on the Alliance side, three races that are arguably ugly isn’t nearly enough.
Draenei have that connection to Sargerei, no? Seems like an easy step.
They got hooves and horns… and specifically no profound forging by the light.
(Although I don’t remember the whole origin story.)
After warlocks for everyone I’m pretty sure that they are going to make true on their promises and give every race the ability to play as every class. Tho evokers might be an outlier.

Non-LF, sure - but being a Lightforged and using Fel, the very thing they’ve fought against for over 13k years feels a bit weird.

I’m not against it - I find it funny.
It does feel like an oxymoron, though. I wonder how Xe’ra feels seeing her Lightforged becom the ‘‘Felforged’’.

Can’t wait to see how they justify Draenei, Light-forged Draenei, Mag’har Orcs and Highmountain Tauren. If at all…

They don’t honestly have to, gameplay should always triumph over lore in the end. In FF14 even ground mounts fly because the developers realized that people just like some mounts and want to use them and making some unable to fly would feel like dung, so they made all the mounts fly. Same should apply to any game, gameplay over lore.
