So after submitting a ticket to EU Support a few hours ago, I received a response pretty quickly that they have “received several reports about some issues regarding the EU servers. Rest assured! Our developer team is working hard in order to fix this as soon as possible!”
So, let’s hope that there will be a fix in the works, at least they seem aware of it. If you haven’t already and think it may be helpful, opening a ticket may not hurt (and if you are unable to get to the EU Support page, I was able to when using a VPN). I included two recent tracerts with my ticket which they acknowledged, and I also linked back to this post so they could see there was a number of us having the issue.

We are aware of an issue that is affecting our authentication servers, which may result in slow or failed login attempts. We are currently investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.

Having this issue as well, been unable to connect to the game for about 24 hours now starting yesterday. I play from NA and connect to EU. Also tried every fix online I could find but nothing has helped.

Having the exact same issue, also playing from the US on EU servers. I can not connect and have tried everything.
This is happening to me too, it does feel like it has something to do with the DDOS rollback and possibly their investigation that is causing this issue to happen.
Best solution I have found intermittently is VPN to Canada for lowest amount of ping. (130ish) to EU server.
Which VPN provider are you guys using? Is it paid?
Gonna throw myself into this ring as well. Pretty much same as the rest of you: Currently in the US trying to play on my EU account (I’m originally from EU). Worked fine the last few weeks, but since yesterday I can’t log into any EU servers. NA works fine, haven’t tested Asia. It started yesterday with games not updating/initializing.
Also, since I didn’t see anyone mention this: For me it’s affecting all Blizzard titles, not just WoW. Is this also the case for you guys?
Having the same issue to connect to EU servers from the US. Setting up my VPN to EU fixes long as long as it says in EU.

I just tried logging in as well and was able to get through finally. I’m hoping that it’s stable, and that if it hasn’t let you log in just yet that you all will be able to shortly.

As some have noticed already we recently resolved an issue that was preventing players on some US service providers to connect to EU servers.
If anyone is still having issues, it would likely be a different cause, and I’d recommend working through the troubleshooting steps here:
