No, you just don’t remember what WoD was like if you think you couldn’t queue for heroics the moment you hit 100. I had 3 pieces that was 640 on my priest when I was lvling it, I had enough ilvl to queue heroic dungeons when I hit max level.

You should try just normal dungeons they drop 400 loot then heroics and then mythics 0. I’ve started 100% fresh on a new realm with only heirlooms that stop at ilvl 280ish??. Just keep at it. Took me a week of constantly playing but managed to get max level and to ilvl455.
On another note try and find a friendly guild that run mythics regularly. When they’re leveling up keys they might bring you a long and you get some good loot in your chest and from the dungeon! Hope all helps

Ye I did it already. This is jsut beyond stupid when someone is arguing about catch up mechanic being to slow when the very same person doesn’t use catch up mechanic to get to -pretty much- instant 385 ilvl lol

We only need a cloak catchup, I have 200k damn Coalescing Essences but I can’t boost my cloak level because of timegate.
Pretty sure OP has a thread about that somewhere too

You had to complete Proving Grounds Silver before you could queue for Heroics.
