Your favorite leveling zone

I’ll always love Zangarmarsh and Nagrand. I was so anoyed when I hit 70 on my Dracthyr Shadow Priest and Chromie was like: “Lmao, fun’s over, go do the War Within campaign now, scrub!”

Mmmmh… Weirdly enough I still love leveling in BfA zones. That’s usually my go-to if I’m starting an alt from scratch.

So I guess that’s my answer: The various BfA launch zones.

But there’s loads more zones I love. I’m mostly a world content player for a reason.

Heirlooms are the answer.

its not a ally forum m8.

Barrens sucks. Literally the worst zone in the game.

ofc you feel that way its a horde lvling zone, but for us horde its a great place full of cool quest’s and some of the best dungeons ever made.

the best horde zone is silverpine because you level very fast.

Deadwoods, Stranglethorn Vale, Un’goro Crater, Grizzly Hills, Drustvar, All of Shadowlands. Not quests per se but the feel of the zones. Really really like Emerald Dream

All the cata zones, both revamped low level ones and 80-85 ones, hyjal, uldum, they aren’t standout in terms of cinematics or fanfare but they really just feel good to be in

Duskwood. Both pre and post-Cataclysm.

Elwynn Forest. Bit of a basic choice but i’ve been through there many many times. It feels like home

Very interesting question, thank you.

As someone, who unless i play some hard content (meaning m+, very high tier delves, maybe raids), i nearly always listen to music, very relaxing music. Some of the music is called even “sleeping” music. And i have gaming playlist on YT music called “gaming chill” and it’s just a bunch of 1+h. long compilations, something like “D&D Calm fantasy music for adventure and exploration”, or “enchanted forest”, or “fantasy medieval calming music”.

I come to WoW to relax i guess mainly. So music is very important to me.

And so naturally, Azuremyst Isle i always enjoyed a lot. Relaxing music, animal sounds. It’s also because Draenei is my most favourite race in the game tho.

I also enjoyed a lot Isle of Dorn. Not because of music, but because of the lore. Some of the quest lines are quite touching.

And because i’m a Draenei fanboi, Draenor is one of my most favourite world/expansion.

My first ever experience (of current content at the time) in WoW was Zuldazar and I remember just being in awe because of the huge trees and dinosaurs in this game that I’d heard so much about during my life but never played. Even now I go back there and still get that feeling that I had when I first played, so Zuldazar holds a special place in my heart.

For me its hellfire peninsula.
Why ? I hear you ask ?

Firstly the sky is so different to any other zone in game its gorgeous.

Its also THE first zone where you meet the shattered hand orcs.

Its got the damned awful threat of the Fel Reaver walking round and thats all before the doomlord kazzak appears on his throne.

Its bleak to look at but with a name like hellfire it should do.

You even get to meet the bloodelf who is trying to plant seeds all over outlands.
For me its the best zone simply because of all these things, did i also mention its also the first ever pre cata zone that you can fly in.

Yes you may unlock flight at wildhamner stronghold in shadowmoon valley but when you step into hellfire through the portal the ability is there even if your yet to obtain it.

These are just some of the reasons i choose hellfire as MY lvling zone.
