Maybe for a company like Blizzard that does not care for it’s customers.

What massive advantage exactl u are talking about?? Can u or anyone else give any example? 
You can start a fresh character on any of the old realms, level up in 2 weeks with casual playing (3h a day) and you will still have enough time to get full brutal gear before the Wrath starts.
And if you feel like u are super slow leveler, u can just buy the boost to 70 and then its really just about the full brutal gear.
Seriously… sure other players might have more gold or more leveled characters, but how the f that anyhow decreases your experience?

Both of you don’t seem to realize that there weren’t queues prior to the prepatch.
All people have to go by is ironforge and “new, low, medium, high, full” on the launcher and those are hardly scientific or accurate.
On top of this, Blizzards knee jerk reaction is now splitting up guilds who actually choose to do the transfer they’re feeling forced to do.
And again, we’ve seen this play out twice now. Transferring this early has, twice now, been equal to having to pay €25 per toon later.
I played on a “full” server in classic and it’s virtually dead now. I lucked out and got a free transfer off, but the server itself is still dead. Partly cause Blizzard effed it up, by locking it and then never unlocking it again.
Yes, Ashbringer was closed for transfers for a very long time through Classic and TBCC, there was simply never any new blood coming in.
I’m not gonna defend blizzard here but I feel it’s prudent to mention that the only reason they’re doing this is because they got yelled at by players both in Classic and TBC for having “dead servers” and “no faction balance”.
You’re literally asking to have the cake and eat it at the same time.
But you knew this would happen tho?
Obviously theWOTLK launch would bring in hundreds of thounsands of players, and where do these people go?

Suddenly your server has a lot more players.
So just choose not to play gehennas to begin with

on new realms only a handful in comparison have that

Big server + New content = More players coming to the server making it even bigger, Thus ending in big queue

I play on Earthshaker, a server that was, by guesstimates, pretty damned big.
We’ve never had queues.
So it’s 100% down to guesswork on the players part cause Blizzard sat on their hands doing nothing.
The question remains… how is a Sunwell Gear or tons of gold a massive advantage?
How it destroys your Wotlk experience?
Unless you are the 1% of min maxers none of it matters lol You can farm a cheap S4 gear in the span of a few casual days. And with cheap Wotlk mount prices, there is really no reason why would you even need tons of gold lol
At the same time, tons of people is leveling their alts all the time, so there is tons of people doing old dungeons. So the fresh Wotlk server has absolutely no significant advantage.

because ppl with much gold buy all gear and outperform in all ways possible
also easier to buy stuff AH whereas someone in green gear and no money and no flying mount cant do anything
easier when most ppl are in greens and no money and not majority is full sunwell gear and unlimited gold
if you not see how old realms are different from fresh then you stupid
Yeah not many new/returning players want to go level on a server where the majority is bored max geared 70s running around killing lowbies, or the other players your level all geared twinks.
FRESH is what we want where people running around in quest gear and very little high levels!

You have just hit the nail on the head. You should go and work for Blizzard with that genious intelligence you have! Screw the 100,000 euro per month from the 10k who unsubbed, as long as the queue stops!

This is beyond a joke!
I sit here for 4 hours in a queue doing other stuff on my computer making sure im around and i go downstairs to answer the door and get dcd, by the time im back upstairs im at the back of the queue! I had 30 minutes remaining and i get this while there are thousands of people sat botting or casting in from work, staying logged in overnight screwing everyone else over.
Blizzard really need to learn to cap servers its not like this is anything new!
